M83 is a French electronic group that never ceases to please the fans with stylish and progressive tracks. The project is popular both in France and far beyond the country. The team members are not afraid to experiment with the musical form and content of compositions, looking for new ideas, embody the original musical moves into reality. The group was formed in 2001 in the city of Antibes, Provence. Then two talented artists, Anthony Gonzalez and Nicolas Frozo, decided to create their own electronic project. Musicians wanted the style of their compositions at the same time combined the tradition of electronic music of the 80-90s and current trends of today. The name group was in honor of the Spiral Galaxy Messier 83.
After the release of the second plate of the French duet, the fromzo decided to leave the project and do solo creativity. From this time, Anthony spoke independently, periodically inviting Yana Brother, vocalist and the Morgan Kibby Kibby Keyman and Keycharker Moraine.
Music
The debut plate of the group was published in 2001. The release was popular in Europe, but outside the European countries the album remained unknown. Changes occurred in 2005, when the recording company Mute Records reprinted and released a plate on both sides of the ocean. The second disk recorded by musicians in 2003 has become more successful both in the commercial plan and in the increased popularity of the French team at the listeners.Shortly after leaving the project, Nicolas Gonzalez began the studio record of the third album - by this time the guy had a fairly surreached material. In 2006, the musician arranged a large community tour of the states and began to prepare tracks for the next album. The work was carried out at the home studio of Gonzalez recording. Also in creating a disc, Antoan Gel took part. The plate was published in 2007, and after a year the band went on tour with Kings Of Leon to play heating from alternative rock stars. Communted in terms of joint speeches of the team with "legends" was 2009 - then the band played on the same stage with The Killers and Depeche Mode.
Since 2010, the project participants tried themselves in the new direction - began to write soundtracks for the films of French directories. The next similar work was the record of musical accompaniment for the painting "Oblivion", which came to the screens in 2013. In 2015, the musicians receive an order for a new soundtrack to the Italian film on the criminal gangs of Subur. These works received positive feedback both musical and film critics.
In 2011, the team fans have heard the single Midnight City, which the Hurry Up, We're Dreaming double album exit. On the song soon the clip was removed, scored a record number of views for the group. The next plate is French electronics produced in 5 years. Invited musicians took part in the disk record. In addition, Gonzalez decided to change a little style towards the ambient.

The project continues to work on creating new works, includes original techniques in the tracks. In early 2019, the team released a soundtrack for the picture of Yana Gonzalez Knife + Heart.
