Alexander was born in 1978 in Moscow in an intelligent family, from which another famous representative of the Russian cinema was released - actor Pavel Barshak, coming to the director younger brother. Grandma was prominent "Spain", and grandfather - inventor. Both parents worked as engineers: Father - in the field of energy, and mother - at the Moscow Aviation Institute.
Having learned from the grandmother about the set to theatrical school at Gitis, Sasha went there to learn. Personal life
The parents of Barshak and his wife Yulia were friends, thanks to which they met, and then fell in love with each other their children. They got married in 2004, and in the same year the Son of Dima was born in a couple. Alexander's spouse is not related to the cinema, being an economist engineer.In 2010, on the personal life of the director began to write all the media: journalists spoke about Barshak's novel with actress Marina Alexandrova, with which he began to appear in public events.
