Plot
In an alternative version of the human world of the soul, people have the appearance of animals and accompany a person throughout life. The main character of the painting is a girl Lira, an orphan, which grew up in a closed space - in the prestigious University of Great Britain. The hopes for the fact that guardian, Uncle Azriel, will take it to the north, turned out to be in vain: the scientist is too fascinated by dangerous scientific experiments and discoveries. Lyra enters London, where Lady Colter takes her, who offered the heroine work. Here the girl is waiting for the mass of adventures and dangers.In the new season, the heroine falls into the city of Chittagatsz, where the enemies of people became sinister ghosts. In addition, it turns out that there is another parallel world, in which Lira falls, following his uncle. There she finds a friend, a boy named Will Paris, which becomes the owner of a magic knife capable of cutting into the entrances to other worlds. Lord Azriel wants to overthrow the lords to whom the clergymen serve all worlds. For this, he needs a lira and wonderful Will's knife.
