Julia Lutova is a figure skater from Moscow, who made a career abroad. However, in the Russian media, her name often flashed in news publics, and not only in sports reports, but also in the context of relations with the star of the "Ice Age" Roman Kostomarov.Childhood and youth
Julia was born in Moscow on October 5, 1981. After the collapse of the USSR, parents decided to move to Austria, after which Lautov began to perform in world championships under the flag of this country.
However, the figure skater has not changed its coaches. In the capital, the girl went on the ice under the leadership of Elena Tchaikovskaya (for the first time, the skates were pretty early - at the age of four). The physical characteristics of the young athlete allowed to talk about the big future.
Later, Lautov moved to the group of Marina Kudryavtseva, which in different periods worked with Elena Sokolova, Ivan Bariev and Alexander Asspensky.
Figure skating
The first loud victory of the Austrian figure skater, which specialized in single skating, happened at the Championship in Klagenfurt. Such a debut allowed a native of Moscow to get a ticket to the national team. There she quickly won the title of team leader and since then regularly defended the country's honor at international competitions.As for national championships, Julia has demonstrated incredible stability. During the career, she won the first seats for another 5 times - the last gold medal was obtained by it in 2004. At the same time, the girl easily left behind no less talented competitors Anna Wentsell and Andreu Kus.
But at the Olympic Games did not favor. In 1998, Julia went to Nagano, where the selection was perfectly passed, but in a short program, emotions took up. Without cope with the excitement, Austrian did not rebel the points to enter even twenty.
But in the arbitrary program of Louth, already having to get out, achieved the best result and the 13th place. In the standings, she received the 14th line. However, the athlete itself did not count on the medal and was pleased with the fact that she had surpassed such famous skaters as Nicole Bobek, Litisia Jumber and Alice Dray.

The most successful for her was the championship in South Korea in 1997, where the girl managed to enter the top three leaders of an arbitrary program.
