The future actor was born on October 22, 1965 in Minsk. Dmitry's family had no relation to the world of cinema: the father worked as a designer engineer, Mom - Candidate of Biological Sciences. Little Dima grew up with two brothers - senior Andrey and younger Nikolai. Both brothers Josephs chose another way in life and became programmers.
Perhaps Dmitry could also become a programmer, a skater or even a photographer (the boy was seriously fond of photography and was engaged in the figure skating section), but fate ordered differently.
Once, during the next workout on the ice, the employee of the studio "Belarusfilm" drew attention to the boy. Dmitry was invited to view - they needed actors to film the fairy tale about Pinocchio.
As the actor himself remembered later, the first impression of the studio turned out to be negative. The boy even selected her grandmother, which led him to the casting that he had a belly from him. The deception was successful, but after a while Dmitry again led to Belarusfilm and even approved the role of Harlequin.
Casting continued, but the director Leonid Nechayev did not manage to choose the actors to the role of Malvina and Pinocchio. And then Dmitry Josephov gave the image of the main character. The actor loves to remember in an interview that it is hardly difficult to choose the "nose" of the right length and size - the props all the time changed, tried different options.
After a couple of months, the boy was impatiently inquired when they start shooting the film. The film crew and director looked around - it turned out that the shooting has long been in full swing.

So for Dmitry Josephov, a new world opened - the world of cinema. This first picture is "the adventures of Buratino" - a familiar, perhaps, every child, and already new generations of children empathize with a restless, but sincere wooden man.
The acting film was truly starry, and Little Dmitry was lucky enough to work with Vladimir Ethew, playing Karabas-Barabas, inimitable Rolan Bykov in the image of the Basilio Cat, Elena Sanaeva, who performed the role of Fox Alice. Also in the painting played Rin Green, Nikolay Grinko, Tatiana Protsenko.
It is impossible to say that the first role was given to a small dimension with ease. The boy sometimes was tired and capricious, but there was always a grandmother's grandmother, ready to calm the grandson, as well as the director and members of the film crew supporting Dmitry. So, gradually, an ordinary child has turned into a real artist and by the end of the shooting process demonstrated professionalism.
The talented boy was noticed and began to invite into other films. So, in 1977, Dmitry Iosifov appeared in the image of a wolf film in a film "about the Red Hood", and two years later, Stepan Komarova's hooligan played by Nikolai Lukyanov and Pavel Lungin "Captain Sovie-head" player.
A few years later, before the crowned Dmitry Josephov, the question arose about choosing a future profession. At first, the young man was going to go along the path of his father and submit documents to the local Polytech. But before the exams remained for several months, and then the young man went to Moscow to try his happiness on the entrance exams in VGIK.
At first, Josephs did not impress the admission committee, but the director of the "Adventures of Buratino" Leonid Nechaev took Dmitry to the orders, assuring the teaching staff that the young man will certainly reveal the talent later.
So it turned out: under the persistent leadership of Alexei Batalov, who became a mentor of the group in which Josephs studied, a beginner actor became a real master of his case. Immediately after Vgika Dmitry became in demand, the young man was constantly invited to shoot, offering both minor roles, and images of the main characters.
Most often, at that time, the actor had to play in detective TV shows and paintings. Josephs himself considers the film by Alexander Rogozhkin "Karaul" the best on your own little movie on that time. This drama, the plot of which is based on the tragedy that happened, did not leave the audience indifferent. Here Dmitry Josephs played together with Alexey Semi-Own, Alexey Buldakov, Taras Denisenko.
Gradually roles became less, and in the creative biography of Dmitry Josephov, a new, directorial, page was opened. He began with commercials, gradually mastering new activities. Then began to receive invitations and more serious projects.
Among the directorial creations of Dmitry Iosifova - the short film "Nicholya", a few episodes of the cult "slaughter power", "Summer Wolves", "Leaving Nature" and other paintings.
However, the most powerful work of Josephov director is considered the historical series "Catherine. Take off, "in the center of which the fate of the Great Empress and the Great Woman. Personal life
Dmitry Iosifova's personal life was happily. Spouses met, even when Dmitry studied in Vgika. After some time, the girl became pregnant, and young people immediately married. The wife of the actor Natalia presented the spouse of three children - Andrei, Anton and Artem.
Like a husband, Natalia works in the world of art: a woman is an artist in the costumes. The eldest son is also associated with the movie - he operator. But the younger children of the actor have not yet decided on a future profession.

In 2018, Dmitry Iosifov again appeared in the art frames. We are talking about the Muhabbat Operation of the Mussellery. In this dramatic series, the events of Afghan war and sincere love, spy adventures and strong friendship are intertwined.
Here Dmitry got a secondary role of Dr. Gorelov, and the actors of Ilya Malakov, Aglaya Tarasova, Sergey Putuspalim, Sergey Stranelnikov played the main characters.
