Chris Franz was born on May 8, 1951 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in the family of the military. He studied at high school in Pittsburgh, and in 1965 he played in the school group The Hustlers. In the pursuit of the dream, the whole team of the team moved from a small town to New York. However, Franz did not suit the leadership of the music studio, which became cooperating with them, and he went to Roy-Aland for learning design.
David Byrne was born in Dambarton, Scotland, on May 14, 1952. After 2 years, parents moved to Canada. When David was 8 or 9 years old, the family moved again, this time in the suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from high school, the guy entered the same school in Roy-Alande, where he met Chris Franz.
In 1974, students organized a duet called Artistics, performed novice musicians mostly aliens hits, except for several author's songs Byrne. Chris's girlfriend named Tina Wemouth helped the guys and even participated in writing Hit Psycho Killer.
After the collapse of Artistics in the middle of 1974, the history of Talking Heads began. Bern moved to New York to focus on creativity. Music
After 6 months of rehearsal, this composition under the name Talking Heads performed at the opening of the Ramones concert at the CBGB Baueri Club. By the end of the 1976th, the guys received a contract with Sire Records, and in the spring of next year a debut song was recorded. A month later, a new participant joined them - keyboard player and guitarist Jerry Harrison. Continuing to use different genres, Talking Heads records another 3 albums and removes clips. In 1983, the Quartet records the fifth in the discography album Speaking in Tongues, which went to a million circulation. Talking Heads now
Musicians now do not work together. In 2017, there were rumors about a possible reunion in the press, but David Byrne denied them, saying that she no longer would associate himself with Talking Heads.
He himself continues to actively engage in solo career and producing.
