Shanaya Twain was born on August 28, 1965 in Winsor, Canada. At birth, the star was called Aille Regina Edwards. She grew up with the sisters of Jill and Carey Ann. When she was 2 years old, the parents divorced, and the mother married Jerry Twain, who oversalled the girls and gave them his last name.
