Via appeared in 1971. The artistic director of the ensemble was the young talented pianist Victor Vestein. By the time of the creation of the project, the young man had already had experience in the stage - played groups accompanying the concerts of Joseph Kobzon, Maya Kristalinskaya and other Soviet performers.
Initially, the brainchild of the musician was called the name "Contemporary" and "Singing Continents". Later, the name was replaced by permanent - "singing hearts". The first part includes 16 performers playing on different tools. Verstein himself played the parties on the electric cargano, xylophone and piano.
Interestingly, in the first years of the ensemble, Nikolay Agutin, the father of the popular singer Leonid, worked by his administrator. The author of hits "On the Lilac Moon", "Barefoot Boy", then as a child, often traveled with his father in tour. The composition of VIA changed over time.

In 1983, Victor Vestein decides to make a cardinal change to the group. The artistic director invites young musicians playing hard rock. Among the new participants - Valery Kipelov, Alexander Granovsky. Now in the work of the collective, two musical directions were marked. The first, pop, represented Zhmaakov, the second, oriented young people, includes rock compositions.
In 1985, the team was renamed "Aria". Musicians, among which the performers are dominated by heavy music, move away from VIA's stylistics, work in the Hard-and-Hevi genre. Already by the 1987th, the new ensemble removes clips in which the frames of concert speeches, studio records and moments of the backstage of rockers are included.
The same performers who played and sang in the ensemble earlier create the team "Hermitage", which leads Vitaly Baryshnikov. In 2000, the veterans of the project decide to revive "singing hearts". This idea is successful - the public enthusiastically meets favorite artists with legendary hits.
At the same time, a new original team "singing hearts is created. Fathers and children ", in which the heirs of musicians are involved - the son of Alexander Oltsmana, the daughter of Igor Officer, granddaughter Viktor Verkhstein.
