The fate of Prosaik Vyacheslav Kondratieva is tragic and unique. War veteran published the first book in 59 years, and in less than a half decades, the life of suicide committed itself.Childhood and youth
Frontovik writer was born in the fall of 1920. Father of Glory served as a railroad engineer, mother worked as a librarian. When the boy was 2 years old, the Kondratyev family moved to the capital of the USSR.
Glory studied perfectly and after school entered the Moscow Architectural Institute. In 1939, the first year famous called to the Red Army. The young man served in the Far East in the railway troops, but after an attack on the USSR, the Hitler's troops asked for the forefront. War Vyacheslav began sergeant, and graduated from Lieutenant.
In April 1942, Kondratyeva awarded the Medal "Overland": in the battle for the village of Ovsyannikovo, Sergeant raised the fighters in the attack and personally killed a dozen of the opponent's soldiers. Bloody battles near Rzhev were reflected in the works of the writer.
Double Vyacheslav was injured. After the first fighter, they were transferred to railway troops, and after the second commissioned by disabilities. The mutilated hand did not allow Vyacheslav to embody the dream of youth and become an architect. The man worked as an artist-designer, and at the age of 38 confirmed the qualifications, receiving a diploma of the Moscow Printing Institute.
Personal life
Information about the personal life of Vyacheslav Leonidovich is contradictory. Valery Novodvorskaya wrote that the beloved Kondratyev died on the front line ("on the front", as the front line called the writer himself) and the literator lived "Bobal". The most famous work in the bibliography of Vyacheslav Leonidovich became the story "Sasha", printed in 1979 in the journal "Friendship of Peoples", and the most tragic - the story "at the station is free." The first publication of the veteran was facilitated by the poet Konstantin Simonov, whose poem of the "Road of Smolensk region", as well as the prose of Kondratyev, reflected the horror of the first year of war, tragedy and the extretion of the retreat.
According to Vyacheslav Leonidovich, the reference of works about war for him was the story of Viktor Nekrasov "in the trenches of Stalingrad." Death
The life of the writer broke off on September 23, 1993. Kondratyev shot himself from a progressed trophy pistol. The grave of the writer is located on the Kuntsevsky cemetery of the Russian capital.
The graveyard became the place of rest as colleagues Vyacheslav Leonidovich - Anatoly Aleksina and Venedikta Erofeeva and film director Leonid Gaidai, actors Vladimir Basova, Nonna Mordyukov and Natalia Kustinskaya.
Kondratyev's books continue to go out after the death of the author. So, in 2005, the story "Early Leave" was reprinted.
