Biography
Dmitry Malyshko says that only after the victory at the home Olympics in 2014, the sport began to bring pleasure, and the biathlon is not perceived as a job where something needs to be proved. Childhood and youth
Dmitry was born in the Leningrad region, in the city with the name of Sosnovy Bor. The preschooler boy constantly disappeared in the yard, played with friends in football, basketball, drove on bicycles, but under 8 years old did not attend any sports sections. When Dima went to the 2nd grade, stepfather took him to the DUSSH, who specialized in the preparation of the guys to biathlon.
From the first day they fell in love with a restless boy. True, first Dima attracted the shooting much more, and the skis went into the background. But over time, when he comma and was able to fully master the ski equipment, came out on the first roles in the youth and junior competitions precisely as a sprinter.
Due to the speed and excellent technique, Dmitry in 2008 won the bronze medal at the Winter Games in Saransk and got "to the pencil" to the coach of the youth team.
Then the young man moves to St. Petersburg, begins to engage in a stronger team. But the global financial crisis at that moment hit the biathlon federation.
