Biography
The musical traditions of Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, leave their roots in deep antiquity. But regardless of time, the main acting person of Uzbek music was a singer, a teacher or, in Uzbek, Hafiz. Hafiza, although varying, completing the folk songs, bringing an element of individual creativity in them, from generation to generation retained a traditional Uzbek song.
The traditions of Hafiz are alive in Uzbekistan and today. One of the most striking representatives of the song art of this country is Sherali Juraev.
Childhood and youth
Sherali Juraev was born in 1947 to the Uzssr. The exact date of his birth is unknown, but he himself chose on April 12. According to his own explanation, on this day, he first entered the sacred temple of Kaaba for Muslims.Music
The creative way of Juraev began in 1972, immediately after the end of the Tashkent Institute of Art. His first team was the ensemble of the song and dance "Shodlik" ("joy"), in which he worked until 1979. From 1979 to 1986, the singer worked in the regional philharmonic in his native Andijan, and in 1986 he became a soloist of Tashkent philharmonic.
During the creative biography of Sherally, Juraev performed more semi-second songs, the author of the majority of which he became himself. At concerts, the artist performs compositions written in poems as classic eastern authors (Saadi Sherezi, Rumi) and modern Uzbek songwall poets (Abdulla Aripov, Erkin Vahidov).
Juraev's business cards were such songs like "Carvon" ("Caravan"), "Birinchi Mukhabatim" ("First Love"), "Uzbekim" ("Uzbek people"). The last song among others was presented at the famous Collection of "Rough Guide to Music of Central Asia", which was released in 2005 by WORLD MUSIC NETWORK.
In the late 1980s, Sheralles Juraev showed himself as a writer, making the book "Child - the land owner" and writing a script for the film "Sheralles and Obarchin", playing in it also a major role. The artist was transformed on the screen in the hero of Uzbek history - the narrator and the poet of the XV century. The film tells about his life and love.
Social activities of Sheralles Jurayev began in 1990, when he became a deputy of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan (until 1995) and became close to many years of the country's leader Islam Karimov. After the republic's independence acquired, Juraev and his songs became a tool for the formation of post-Soviet Uzbek identity. Juraev gave many concerts, his songs sounded on television and radio, audio and video tapes were published, the number of tour increased.
However, the person of art is hard to fit into a heavy state car, and soon the relationship with Karimov began to deteriorate. Nobody knows the true causes of cooling, but it should be believed: the fact is that Jurayev remained a singer of a simple people, not official power. His songs speak of folk troubles and chants, and this, as you know, do not like in high offices.
Sherali Juraev disappeared from TV screens, his concerts often fall under the prohibitions, and records with his songs can only be bought from "from under the floors."
Another blow to Jurayev was a massacre in Andijan, his small homeland, which occurred in 2005. His attempts to persuade refugees to return to their native land and hope for the forgiveness of Karimov, many perceived as an attempt to serve the regime and return to the big scene.
He also participated in the process of reconciling Uzbeks and Tajikov, the relationship between which was always stretched, and after the collapse of the USSR, they turned into conflict. So, with an old friend and colleague, the Tajik singer and musician Jurakha Murodow Juraev, in the Soviet years a lot has concerted two peoples in the scene. In the post-Soviet time, this practice sued no, but both singers occasionally occur at concerts and call on compatriots to a good neighborhood, openness and friendship.
Despite the solid age, the singer and to this day leads active creative activity: new songs are recorded, clips are removed. Every year, the artist pleases fans by the release of 1-2 disks. At one time Sherali created albums on the Turkish Studio. From 2013, his albums "Yoningdaman", "Sen Uchun", "Hayat Bana Aşk Borcun Var", "Men Sen Bilan Qirolichaman" came out. Among the latest works, it is worth noting the clip to the Parison composition (2016) and the revised version of the song "Gulbadad" (2017).
There were changes in the concert activity of the singer. In early 2016, the Uzbek pop agency Uzbeknavo reported that Jurava had no one ever took a concert license and no concert for him to give him. Juraev just needed to apply for the event. Already in September 2016, the new president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyev officially allowed the singer to perform on a large stage. Personal life
Personal life Sherali Juraeva is no less bright and is saturated than creative. Almost nothing is known about Jurayev's first wife, except that the marriage was interrupted due to the lack of children. For the third time, his wife became the girl named Gulnara, who gave birth to a singer of five children - two sons and three daughters.
Both Sons of Sheralles Juraeva - Shochzhahon and Zoirshokh - also became singers and are popular in their homeland, performing songs in the style of their father, combining a classic pop song with folk Uzbek motifs.
In 2007, the family of Sherali Juraeva came to the editors of the Uzbek media in connection with the scandal. At one of the events, the singer critically criticized the young Uzbek singer Botir Codirova, who gives himself to the firstborn of the recognized Matra (remember the surname of the second wife Sheryli). Immediately there was an interview with the Countrymen of Juraeva, who began to "recall" the birthday of the Bim, like the young family Sheralles and Zulchumor treated Andijans in this significant day. Now Sherali Juraev is full of strength and creative plans. In 2017, a number of clips appeared on the artist's songs. This is the video "Uzbegim Clip" and "Diydalar". Also, the repertoire of the Uzbek Maestro was replenished with three musical compositions: "Bandaman", Bahore Aych, Bahore Aldamas. The latest songs were decorated with a concert held on the occasion of the singer's anniversary in the capital of Uzbekistan. In March 2018, an epochal event occurred in the history of two neighboring states - Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. President of Javokat Mirziyev arrived in Dushanbe to meet with Emomali Rakhmon.
