The idea of a story about a wooden boy appeared from Alexei Tolstoy in 1923. An edited by a thick translation was released in Berlin, a year later, when Alexey Nikolayevich himself returned to the USSR. In this text, some deviations from the original version have already been observed: a number of moments adapted to Russian realities, Russian sayings appeared in the fairy tale, stylistic alterations. For example, a complex for the Russian ear, the name of the father Pinocchio - Jeppetto - replaced the smaller name Carlo to perceive.
In 1933, Alexei Tolstoy, together with the translator, Nina Petrovskaya begins to work on the literary retelling "Pinocchio", which is engaged in order "Detgism". In the final version of the Russian version of the fairy tales, some moments are seriously reailed, and something at all was not in the Italian original.

Turtle Torter in the story Alexei Tolstoy lives in a deep dirty pond, full "frogs, leeches and larvae of a water beetle." Doberman's detectives threw Pinocchio in this pond to drown a hero. However, a wooden boy did not sink, but he met instead with a Turtle Torter, who reacted to the hero with pity and gave that a gold key.
Several earlier, Karabas-Barabas chose this key in the pond, and Tortila kept that at the bottom. From Tortila, the main character learns who stole the golden, buried on the wasteland (these villains - Lisa Alice and Cat Basilio). The characteristic of this heroine in the text is definitely positive, although the temperament of Torter is a typical phlegmatic.

The classic animation version of the Turtle Turtle in the glasses appeared in 1959, when the Soviet cartoon "Adventures of Buratino" came out. Turtle Torter voiced actress Anastasia Zueva.
The classic film was filmed about Pinocchio shot in 1975 on the Belarus Film's film studio. In this two-particle musical film, the role of the Turtle Tortila played the actress Rina Green. Interesting Facts
