The history of the pop-group "Paints" officially began on January 1, 2001. The producer of the musical team - Alexey Voronov - gathered together four professionals: singer Ekaterina Borovik, Choreographer Olga Gusev, Pianists Vasily God and Andrei Chigir.
The ideological inspiration of the group was Catherine, the remaining team members were selected by the producer on the casting, which was held in Minsk. But soon the soloist left the team and the place of vocalist occupied Oksana Kovalevskaya.
Music
The debut presentation took place in the nightclub "Drop-up", where "paints" presented the album "You're already adult". In addition to the single, the name of which is consonant with the name of the collection, the group performed the compositions "Once or two-three-four", "somewhere far away", "Alien pain" and "My Sun".
Light motifs quickly remembered, so I liked the young generation. Soon in the radio pools «And you do not touch, do not touch me." Already in 2002, "paints" remove the video to the single "Today I came home to my mother." That same year, the group goes to the tour of Belarus. "Paints" gave concerts in 172 settlements. 100 thousand people visited dynamic performances.
The launch of the debut disk on sale also did not disappoint the producer - more than 200 thousand copies were separated by country. The success of the group attracted the attention of Russian colleagues, so the Real Records label released a record to the domestic market. The collection was called "Senior Brother: Yellow Album".
In 2003, the biography of the group changed dramatically. The group "Paints" left both keyboard players, their place in the team was taken by Dmitry Orlovsky. For personal reasons from the group left and choreographer.

At the peak of fame, the group leaves Oksana Kovalevskaya. For such a radical act, the girl had several reasons - pregnancy and desire to create a solo career. The singer's place was taken by a beginner artist Catherine Sasha.
Popularity brought "paints" not only recognition of fans, but also a lot of problems. Like most pop groups, twins of the musical team began to appear in the country. In 2009, a new collection of hits "Green Album" comes. The plate did not repeat the success of the previous creations, but the misses did not affect the popularity of the group.
