"Merry guys" is a cult music team for millions of music lovers living in the post-Soviet space. Winner of all-Union and international competitions, 7-fold winner "Song of the Year".
Since 1988, the Department of Culture of the USSR has approved the ensemble in the status of the Music Theater since 1988. For an absolute record in the Soviet Union and Russia on sales of records "Funny guys" in 2006, a "platinum disk № I" was awarded.

The year of birth of the ensemble is called the 1966th, and the place is the platform of Moskoncert. At the beginning of the road, the creator of the iconic group, 22-year-old Pianist Pavel Slobodkin, and did not think that his creation after 2 years will become a laureate of the All-Union Competition.
The name Via Slobodkin chose unmistakably: "Golden" comedy of the 1930s, removed Gregory Alexandrov, with the magnificent music of Isaac Dunaevsky and love Eagle in the lead role and remembered. By calling the ensemble, the founder emphasized the continuity of generations and gave the name "ship", which seven-year pace "swam" to success.
