He founded the group "Dancing minus" Musician Vyacheslav Petkun, who lived first in St. Petersburg and played in the rock group "Secret Voting". In 1992, Petkun left the group and assembled his own ensemble called "Dance". In the summer of the same year, the first concert of this team was held in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure.
Under the name "Dancing Minus", the group first performed in May 1994 at the festival in honor of the Victory Day, but formally the time of the ensemble is considered spring 1995. Petkun this year moved to Moscow in the company Basist Oleg Polevshshshchikov, and the musicians began to give concerts there.
In an interview, Petkun recognized that he was not satisfied with the slow flow of life in St. Petersburg. The musician wanted to make decisions faster and implement ideas, the Moscow pace of life came to him, in the capital Petkun felt "like a fish in water."
The composition changed many times during the existence of the group. Now the group "Dancing minus" make up a soloist, guitarist, writer of words and music Vyacheslav Petkun, Bass-guitarist Mikhail Hatch, guitarist Anton Habibulin, keyboard player Sergey Khasschevsky, Drummer Oleg Zanin and musician Alexander Mishin, who participates in the group's life time from time to time on an acoustic guitar.
Mikhail Hat appeared in the group in 1999 after leaving Oleg Polevshshchshchikov. Anton Habibulin joined the "Dance" in 2006 after the team broke up with the previous guitarist, at the same time Alexander Mishin came to the group.
Drummer Oleg Zanin appeared in the group in 2007, and the keyboardist Sergei Khasschevsky - in 2010. Before that, the musician has already played in many teams, such as "bulldozer", "trunks", etc.
The soloist of the group Vyacheslav Petkun has a reputation as an extravagant person. For example, in 2003, the singer appeared in a home coat on the show, which was held in the framework of the "High Fashion Week". In his youth, Petkun was engaged in football, and glanced, began to appear in various football talks, on the radio "Sport FM", and also became an expert of the sports editorial board "Moscow Komsomolets" and "Soviet Sport".
Music
Since 1997, a group has concert a lot and then recorded a debut album, which was called "10 drops." According to his own recognition of the leader of the group, working on the first album, the musicians thought about musical aesthetics and about what result they want to get. Nevertheless, the album turned out to be not bad. "Ten Drops" - a mixture of jazz, swing and a new wave, a cello and saxophone sounds among the tools.
This success came to "Dance" in 1999, when the song "City" came out, which became the same popular as the music of Zemfira and Mumiy Troll. In the same year, "Dancing Minus" played at the Maxim MaxiMom International Music Festival, organized by Radio "Maximum", at the Megahaus Festival in "Luzhniki" and in the Sports Palace "Jubilee".
Work on the second album called "Flora and Fauna" was completed in the fall of 1999, and then two new video clips came out. Some famous producers, in particular Leonid Gutkin, expressed the opinion that there is not a single composition on a new album that could become a hit. But practice has shown the opposite. The radio stations willingly took the song songs and twisted them on the air. The presentations of the album were attended by "residents" from the Zoo - Leopard, Break, Crocodile and others.
Aven a year later, "Dance Minus" were brought to work on the film "Exit" director Igor Kalenov. The group created a soundtrack for this project, which later recorded in the form of a separate album. Later, Igor Kalenov attracted a group to participate in another tape, "Cinderella in boots", and later she took a documentary about the "Dance minus".
In 2001, Vyacheslav Petkun stated that the band dissolves, and this was attracted to the team. In particular, the clips of "Dance minus" began to turn on the MTV television channel, where they did not pay attention to the group before. As a result, the group did not break down, but, on the contrary, he released a new album by the end of the year, which was called "losing shadow".
Alla Pugacheva came to the press conference on the occasion of the exit of the album. Prior to this, Petkun starred in the singer's video, and after the "Dancing minus" took part in the concert program "Christmas meetings", which was conducted by Alla Pugachev. Petkun said it was how to get to the audience to Pope Roman. For many, happiness present it was easy to take pictures with Pugacheva and stand next to the legendary singer.
In 2002, Vyacheslav Petkun began to lead on the CTC-show channel dedicated to the show business. At the same time, the singer took part in the project "Notre Dame de Paris", the Russian version of the famous French musical, posed on the novel by Viktor Hugo "Cathedral of the Paris Mother of God." Petkun performed the role of Gorboon Quasimodo in this musical.
Due to the employment of the vocalist, the group began to tour less, but the popularity of "dances" has grown sharply. Thanks to the mass popularity of the musical Vyacheslav Petkun began to invite to participate in "pop" concerts, one and together with the group.
At the end of 2003, the Group played its first acoustic concert in the Moscow Art Theater, and before that, in the fall, released a collection of Best, which entered hits. The next couple of years the group actively concerted and worked on a new album called "... Euja.". The album was released in 2006, and then the next collection of hits was released.
The group periodically participates in musical festivals. "Dance" performed four times at the Maxidrome festival, as well as from 2000 to 2010 several times appeared at the Festival of Rock Music "invasion". The group also participated in the London Festival "Russian Winter", which was held in 2005.
"Dancing minus" now
In November 2018, "Dancing Minus" will play a large solo concert at the Green Concert Glasses of HeadsClub.
In June, the team spoke at the St. Petersburg Festival ROOF Music Fest. The concert was held on a picturesque roof at the ROOF PLACE Music Club on the leather line. In August, the Fireworks festival took place in Moscow in the Bratyean Cascade Park, in which the group also participated.
In the spring of 2018, there were performances of the Dancing Minus Group at the Moscow Club "16 Tons" and in the Vegas City Hall Concert Hall, in the St. Petersburg club "Cosmonaut". The group also gave several concerts in the cities of Russia - Vologda, Cherepovets, Sochi.
Vyacheslav Petkun took part in the work on the project "Tale about Zhenya and Mil". This is a children's audio speaker from Zangavar publishing house on the writer and artist Dmitry Gwidonova. Petkun fulfilled four roles in this audiopect, including one of the key - the role of a soldier.
