The BACKSTREET BOYS group, along with the "N Sync" groups (in which Justin Timberlake was opposed), "Five", "Boyzone" has already become the classics of "boys" musical teams. Millions of fans, daily concerts and hits that were becoming popular in the whole world in one night - such was the life of the Babda participants during the years of Triumph.
Interesting fact: The Backstreet Boys team is even immortalized in the Guinness Book of Records as the most popular youth project of all time. And although the first places of the charts have long been occupied by other performers, "Backstreet Boys" is still loved by loyal fans.
The history of creation and composition
The history of the enchanting popularity of "Backstreet Boys" began in 1993 in the city of Orlando (which in Florida). Three ordinary teenagers - Hey Jay McLen, Nick Carter and Howei Doodow - threatened the thresholds of musical castings and all sorts of listening.
The young men dreamed of tie their biography with a scene and glory. After some time, young people decided to organize their own trio, the benefit of their tastes in their music coincided.
However, the three of the singers remained for a short time: soon Kevin Richardson joined the composition, who, in turn, invited Brian Litrtrell's cousin.
Above the title was rallied for a long time - "Backstreet Boys", the local market was called, which in the evenings turned into a place for youth parties and parties. It translates into Russian as "guys from the backyard".
Soon the first performance of the new team was held - young people sang for visitors to the oceanarium. The mini-concert liked the Administration of the Entertainment Center, and "Backstreet Boys" began to invite to sing in shopping centers, at the opening of exhibitions and night facilities. Gradually, the band became famous.
Music
Already in early 1994, guys managed to conclude a contract with Jive Records Studio. In the experienced hands of the "Backstreet Boys" producers, the style of execution and in July were presented to the public a debut single "WE'VE GOT IT GOING ON". Surprisingly, this song absolutely did not find a response from Americans, but in record lines won the vertices of chart-sheets in many European countries. After writing a few more songs, "Backstreet Boys" went with the first tour of Europe.
After some time, the musicians still noticed in their native United States, and then in Canada. The first album "Backstreet Boys" eventually became one of the most anticipated plates all over the world. He came out in April 1996. Immediately after the release of the album, the group went to a new tour, and returning the guys again "settled" in the studio, starting work on new compositions.
In 1997, the record was published, called "Backstreet's Back", remembering the fans with the compositions of Anywhere for You and Quit Playing Games. Also, the artists recorded several clips and already traditionally went to the global tour.
The popularity of this album has not yet managed to subscribe, as "Backstreet Boys" presented to the world another collection of new songs "Millennium" - "Millennium". The name of the album released in 1999 has echoed with the departure of the previous millennium. The plate, too, is already traditionally, started from the first place of all sorts of musical charts and lasted there for more than one month.
"Millennium" became, perhaps, the most successful album of Boy-Band: The plate was awarded five "Grammy" nominations, and the songs of "Lager Than Life", "Show Me Meaning Of Being Lonely" and "The One" are still popular. Already a year later, the fourth album "Backstreet boys" - "Black & Blue" came out. This name is "black and blue" - there was no reason. The fact is that on a photograph confined to the release of a new plate, all group members were dressed in black, the background was chosen in blue.
Like the previous album, Black & Blue started from the first lines of music charts and sales ratings, but it lasted there for a couple of weeks, after which the popularity of new compositions began to fall. And only the composition "Shape of My Heart" has long sounded on the air of musical radio stations. In addition, the recording of a joint performance of the group together with Elton John - the musicians performed the song "Friends Never Say Goodbye".
In 2001, the "Backstreet Boys" musicians summed up a peculiar result of creativity, releaseing a collection of the best hits "The Hits: Chapter One". In addition, the record includes a new composition called "Drowning". At the same time, artists upset fans with a message that the group takes a creative break for an indefinite period. This time the musicians decided to spend on solo projects.
Only in 2004 Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Hey Jay Maclin, Howei Dorou and Brian Litter again went on stage together. Soon the musicians released new compositions, which started the beginning of work on the next lamella Band. The album came out in 2005. His name - "Never Gone" - was the dedication to the father of Kevin Richardson, who died shortly before. The plate managed to repeat the success of previous albums, deserving platinum status in many countries.
And another year later, the musicians in one of the interviews again upset fans, saying that Kevin Richardson leaves the team. The next plate is "unbreakable" - was recorded already without Kevin. This album turned out to be slightly more "heavy" on sound: "Backstreet Boys" composed several compositions in the new pop rock genre. The plate has gained favorable critics reviews, but it never became popular.
After this album "Backstreet Boys" again made a break in work. Musicians could only be seen on performances, but they gradually became less likely. And only in 2012 the team returned to full-fledged creative activity, and in the old composition: Kevin Richardson returned to the team. At the end of 2012, the radio stations have already twisted the new song of the musicians - "IT's Christmass Time Again".
The next year became for the artists the anniversary - the group turned 20 years. In honor of this date, the star "Backstreet boys" on the "Alley of Glory" in Hollywood was opened. The musicians decided to celebrate the anniversary and went to a tour that lasted two years. The group comes the countries of North and South America, Asia, Europe and even Oceania. As part of this tour, the first "Backstreet boys" concerts in Russia, who gathered a huge number of fans took place.
Then, in 2013, the discography "Backstreet Boys" was replenished with another record - "In a World Like this". And two years later, the fans were able to get acquainted with their favorite artists - the group introduced the documentary "Backstreet Boys: Show Them What You Made Of".
In the frames of this picture, artists appeared in front of fans in a new way, which they are in ordinary life, with their problems, difficulties, fears and joy. The film traced the path of musicians from "green" guys to adult men with children and wives who want to remain true to creativity.
