The traveler was born on July 17, 1994 in the family of theatrical actors living in Vorkuta. Mom Oksana served in the city theater of drama, Pope Igor, who was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Komi, works as director of the puppet theater. Also, Essay has a brother.
In childhood, the boy tried a lot of hobbies from choreography to judo. Without consulting with the parents, he entered the music school in the class of balalaika. A high school student became interested in photo and video filming. But the future profession of the young man decided to tie with linguistics. In 2012, he entered the specialty "English and French language" of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and moved to the Northern Capital.
Love for travel arose in Evsey as a child. As the mother's mom suggested in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, it contributed to this reading fantasy epic, John Tolkina "Lord of the Rings". In addition, both grandmothers of Essay were engaged in journey, and in childhood and youth - and the father of a young man. Adult stories warmed up interest in wanderings.
One day, this led to the fact that Essay who came to the holidays in Vorkuta, along with a friend, went to a multi-day hiking along the tundra. The purpose of young people was to get to the village of Khantov and get acquainted with their life.
Travels
Leaving music the status of the hobby, Kovalev's profession made carriage and installation. As he admitted to one of the video on his channel, he worked mainly in freelanse, receiving orders from advertising agencies and entertainment portals. The monotony of life pushed a young man to the adventurous decision - to go into the army with a zero budget for transport, hotels and other traditional costs.
Later, after running the channel on YouTube, Essay will add that the journey wanted to inspire the rest - those who are not solved to go for their dream, justifying the delay in the lack of money, knowledge or time.
"From the very beginning, I wanted to prove to you that a person who obsessed with something big, than just a desire to have fun or earn, at the start only persistence and faith are needed in what you are doing," Kovalev wrote.Support for the young man was still: in foreign countries, the traveler sometimes stopped at a long time. In addition, from St. Petersburg Kovalev put forward with a margin of warm things, equipment and products. The first video from the tour appeared a month after the start in November 2017. By this time, the Russian overcame 9 thousand kilometers on Scandinavia, including with the help of the highway. For 30 days of the voting traveler brought 56 times and 18 times provided a free place to sleep. The debut roller about the first results of the adventure for August 2018 users of YouTube looked over 500 thousand times.
Initially, Kovalev did not regard the army as an idea for a channel on YouTube, but the interest of subscribers prompted him to post new records. Continuing to travel, he sent footed to friends, and they mounted the rollers and put them on the channel.
In the spring of 2018, the experiment had to interrupt. EVSEY has discovered a benign tumor. Doctors advised to remove the neoplasm, which demanded return to Russia and break in a few weeks.
What a Kovalev told about it in the roller posted in April. After the completion of treatment, EVSEY did not return to the idea of the "Arounds", but continued to travel and remove content on how to visit a particular country, having a minimum of funds.
Casting in the place of the leading program "Eagle and Rusk" Kovalev learned on the final day of selection. According to Vorkutin, the participant's questionnaire, he sent a minute before midnight and did not expect to win. On August 6, the project representatives announced that heveling Nastya, instead of the past Anton Ptushkin, became Evsey Kovalev, characterizing him as a "self-taught traveler" and "the most economical leading" show.
Personal life
The blogger traveler is not married. Does he have a girl, he says not in a hurry. He continues to play music, loves active rest. In his youth, he was fond of skate and snowboard. The namesake of the leader Igor Kovalev is the founder of the style of Fresh-yoga. Does Yoga EVSEY is engaged, unknown.
Parents still live in Vorkuta. Mom and dad support the son in everything. When a young man was in the army, the only requirement of Oksana Kovaleva was constantly staying in touch and from time to time to call relatives.
