The desire for originality, the search for new creative faces, the desire to go beyond one genre - all this is about the duet "Chayan Famali". His participants Andrei and Arthur are not afraid of experiments, their music is a brave mix of hip-hop and other musical directions. Starting a career in native Naberezhnye Chelny, the guys gradually went to the All-Russian level, and now they know them far beyond the limits of Tatarstan.The history of creation and composition
The duet "Cayan Famali" appeared in Naberezhnye Chelny, the hometown of Andrei Voron and Arthur Chayanov. It was these guys that became the founders and non-perpetrators of the team. Arthur was engaged in creativity since childhood: he went to music school, compiled the foundations of vocals and solfeggio.
Andrei, in turn, admits that in music he is a casual man. At first, the young man was seriously fond of dancing, but during his studies at the university opened rap for himself. In just a few weeks after the acquaintance with the Raven genre began to record their own tracks.
Rapers met in 2004. At that time, both of them were part of other hip-hop groups: Andrei collaborated with Big Race, Arthur, speaking under a pseudonym A.G., with "P.S". The teams met in the studio to record a joint disk, which was called "16 votes - Attack Scorpions".
Young people, interested in the work of each other, began to communicate, and a little later decided to experiment with tracks: added new fragments to the songs already written. The result came to them in the soul, it was decided to write an album.
Initially, the group was more, but subsequently some participants went into solo swimming, others were used to project. Only the backbone, consisting of two people, Arthur and Andrei changed. In 2007, the team finally turned into a duet, which was named after the "scorpions" - one of the city gangs. At the same time, the "name" duet reflects the national flavor, because translated from the Tatar "Chayan" means "Scorpio".
Music
By his branded peculiarity, the guys consider the mixture of different musical genres - from rap to Danshall. "Cayan Famali" say that their music is designed for the dance floor. At the dawn of his creative biography, young people performed in the club clubs, developed as MS, sent demos of famous artists, and many of them responded with interest to the offer.
In 2008, the record was released "I.D.E.A. F.I.x ", in the record of which Diana Telia, Jaskaz, M. Sai and other performers took part. In 2011, the light saw a double album "Music is now legal", which includes 28 tracks and 4 bonus. It also grabs creative collaborations - with Nappy Paco, Pizza Group, DJ Prosha.
Sometimes the duet performed on the heating of other artists, for example, the "Casta" group. There guys got acquainted with Raper Vlad, the head of the label Respect Production. Not particularly counting on success, Andrei and Arthur sent him his musical material. In response, heard the proposal to meet personally and discuss the contract. So in 2012, "Cayan Famali" became artists of an independent record label.
According to musicians, the pros in such cooperation is still more than minuses, especially when the artist and label binds a single goal. In an interview with Andrei and Arthur recognized that they want to popularize Danshall - a musical genre that underlies their style.
The first release "Chayan Famali" on the ReSpect Production became a mini-album "Fitil" (2013) - so on the music slang it is called "feat." ("Fit"), denoting that guest artist took part in the recording of the song. The plate, consisting of 7 tracks, was conceived before working with the "Respect". Together with the participants of the duet over her, artists of Vlad, Serpent, Smokey Mo and others worked.
Then it is time to exit a full-fledged album. In 2013, the guys released the "flame" - a disk, on which there is no single "Fita", all 18 compositions are performed by Andrei Raven and Arthur Chayanov. The "flame" is called the most light and dance release of the group, it is noted that there are those components that are lacking Russian hip-hop.
In addition to recording songs, the musicians came to the clips closely - only in 2013 8 video came out. The director of several of them was Ruslan Pelich. Especially for filming, he arrived from New York. The choice of Locations "Cayan Famali" is also sularing, for example, the clip "It's time for us to say goodbye" (2014) was partially filmed in the Moscow Green Theater.
In 2015, the duet went on tour to Kazakhstan. There, on the shores of the Caspian Sea, they took part in Aktau Open Fest - the event that the organizers characterize as the "annual holiday of music and sports." "Cayan Famali" performed at the closure of the festival.
On October 7, 2016, the release of the album "Millionaire" took place. In it, the performers moved away from Danshall-sound, explaining that they wanted to make a ballad plate. Some of the songs entered in the millionaire ("taste of lips" and "above the ocean") were waiting in the wings since 2011. Speaking about the album, Arthur noticed that part of the listeners was disappointed with new, unusual sound. However, the musician stressed that he likes to open new facets in his work.
In 2017, the duet discography was replenished with another album, called the "idol". Reviewer Alexey Mazhaev praised "Chayan Famali" for the ease and ironiness, a harmonious combination of hip-hop with different musical directions - reggae, funk, melody pop and others.

Now the performers continue to delight listeners with new singles and plates, communicate with fans in the official group in Vkontakte, as well as in Twitter and Instagram. In the personal life of the artists everything is good: Andrei Raven is happy in marriage with Dinara Ponomareva, Arthur Chayanov meets with choreogram Albina Timiryaeva - joint photos are regularly appearing in his "instagram".
2018 in the creative biography of "Cayan Famali" was produced productive. On January 2, the release of the album "Superstar" was released - its name, cover, as well as a composition called "Jesus" send a listener to the famous rock opera Andrew Lloyd Webber "Jesus Christ - Superstar".
On August 17, the duet released the second album called the Sound Systems. It includes 9 tracks, including "Fiti", recorded with such artists as Dipset, Zomba, Jacques Anthony. Also, on September 21, the musicians presented the Single "Maybe" to the studies.
