The biography of a young dancer from Ryazan Igor Kotov interested in the public when he first appeared in the 5th season of the Dance project on TNT. He stood out among the other participants in courage and a non-bank approach to the choice of style and the scenic dress - before that the jury had not yet had to see the young man, dancing strip dance, and even on his hairpins.
Igor Kotov was born in Ryazan in 1999. He was fond of dancing from childhood, but for a long time he could not choose a favorite direction. The boy began with a classic ballet, but it's quickly tired of standing at the machine, and he drew attention to the modern genres - Jazz Funk, Hip-Hop and Streep. Cats constantly participated in Battle and visited master classes.
Dancing
After school, Igor began to go to Moscow several times a week to engage in metropolitan coaches. Hearing about the casting show "Dances" on TNT, he realized that this is his chance. In September 2018, he passed the first selection and appeared before the public in an unusual amplua. Igor prepared a room in the traditionally female genre - strip-plastic, and he was danced in high heels.
Later, in an interview with the cats, he said that for a long time he could not decide on a bold step and engage in such dances - for the acquaintance of self-confidence, he was gone. Now he believes that "the dancer does not have sex" and the strip can be a universal direction.
The jury impressed the courage of the young Ryazan and the qualitative performance of the number. Tatyana Denisova called his speech by "touching, graceful and vulnerable." Igor, the unanimous decision of the judges switched to the next round, where it was necessary to demonstrate the ability to perform in the team.
This time, cats went on stage in a group of 6 people. According to the jury, they had to fulfill the number in the style of Contemporary - a difficult genre, which is based on improvisation and movement borrowed from yoga and oriental martial arts. The second speech was for Igor not so brilliant as the previous one - the participants "fell apart" and failed to fulfill the dance part synchronously, but in the next round of Ryazan, they still missed.
If 196 participants took place on the first test, after the second, only 57 remained. To withstand the rigid competition, Kotov helps support for fans, including from a native city, which actively vote for it and write on social networks of support words.
Personal life
Nothing is not known about the personal life of the dancer. It is possible that Igor's heart is free - he has never mentioned whether he has a girlfriend. A non-standard performance on the project has become a reason for rumors about his unconventional orientation, but the artist does not comment in any way comment on such rumors.
