To cure those heroes want to get to the military base of Fort Bening - there is a center for the control of morbidity.
However, in the course of the case, the characters learn that civilization fell under the onslaught of zombies, and the army and governments were destroyed. Heroes expect a military base to be a safe place. On the way from the group, a girl is fought off. That is looking for forests, and during these searches, a certain farmer by mistake shoots in the son of Rica.
The boy is attributed to the farm, where they are in feeling. On this farm, the whole group is forced to stay for a while. You need to cure the son of Rick and find a lost girl. Later it turns out that the girl died, and the military base, where the heroes seek to get into, sisite zombies.
The group of survivors finds a refuge in the prison building. Rick protects the family and fears the prisoners - does not miss those in that part of the prison, which he himself occupied, and some even kills. After a while, Rick's wife dies during childbirth and leaves a newborn daughter, and hero falls into depression.

Later, Rick gives acquaintance with members of another community and from those learning about the existence of a gang, whose members extort food from the residents of communities. Rick agrees with the residents of the community that will destroy the gang in exchange for a certain part of the crop. Relaxing into this case, the hero will soon find out that opponents are not a separate gang of thugs, but a whole army that has a network of military bases.
This army has a leader named Nigan, who subordinates Rick, his group and the community to which those belong. Now the rick community is forced to pay to this Nigan tribute and work on him. In the end, the patience of the hero ends, and he raises the uprising, uniting several communities against Nigan.
In the comic room, the hero looks like a strong man of thirty years with blond straight hair and beard. In the series, the appearance of Rick is somewhat different. The hero has dark curly hair and a graying beard. The growth of the actor, which plays Rica - 178 cm.
