Larisa Kuklin (Maiden Surname Kuznetsova) was born at the end of 1990 in a small town called Labytnangi, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Tyumen region. Returning to the system for the spring of 2011, the biathlete quickly crashed lost, becoming the absolute winner of Russian junior competitions.
In the category of adult athletes, Kuklin began performing from the end of the 2010/2011 season, and she immediately manages to take the 7th place at the Russian Marathon Race Championships, which is not bad for a former Junior. However, the new injury did not allow to perform from the beginning of the following races. For the first time to go to the ski after treatment, the girl was managed only in January 2012, she immediately began to train hard. This allowed her to take the 3rd place in the overall standings of the Russian Cup.
In the same year, under the leadership of Coach Leonid Gurieva, Larisa is part of the youth team and wins the 1st place in the relay and the individual race at the Russian Biathlon Championship.
At the first stage of the IBU Cup in the 2012/2013 Cup, which was held in the Swedish ID, in the sprint, the girl took only the 9th place, but managed to show the best result in the second stage, won the bronze in the individual race and silver in the sprint. And in the next two seasons on the Biathlon competitions of IBU, she took only one silver medal, and also received bronze awards at the Universiade in 2013.
