Zero People was created as a parallel project of the participants of the Animal Jaz group. As a result, the music of the duet conquered the listeners and became popular among the connoisseurs of rock poetry.The history of creation and composition
The creation history originates in 2010, when the participants of the St. Petersburg team "Animal Jazz" appeared the idea of a parallel project. Zero People included soloist Alexander Krasovitsky and Keyboardarm Alexander Zarankin. They began to perform in the genre of rock poetry, which became popular on the Russian scene thanks to the work of "Splin".
Music
The duo made his debut in March 2011 at the PLACE St. Petersburg club. Participants sang on the same scene with American musician John Forte. Together they performed the "Zero" composition, which spread on the network called the Festival. Zero People appeared the first listeners who were fascinated by the atmosphere of the performance.In summer, the artists began recording the first album. Single "Have time to say" spawned on the waves of "our radio". To the other song "Breathe" participants released the video, which was removed during the sunset on the embankment.
In the autumn, the musicians presented a plate "Catcher of Silence" in Moscow and St. Petersburg. It was created with the participation of invited musicians, including Nina Dolginsevoy cellos.
Soon Zero People went to the touring tour of the cities of Russia and Ukraine. They were invited to speak at the festivals Kubana and "Message to Man". Duet's merits were marked by the Golden Gargoyle Prize for the best independent project. And the ladded t-shirts were collectible.
Despite this, the artists remained known in narrow circles. However, Krasovitsky and Zarakin did not strive for commercial success, they wanted to share their work with people, which was managed on chamber performances.
The second album "Jedi" replenished discography in 2014. Together with the record participants presented a DVD record from a stylized concert. Zero People conducted a tour of the release tour.
Music and words for songs Musicians create predominantly. The soloist and the author of the texts Alexander Krasovitsky admits that he is trying to relyze negative emotions through creativity, answer current issues. Therefore, the duet repertoire is filled with longing, anxiety, pain and suffering. He gives performers with emotions that are not enough in a parallel project - "Animal Jazz".
Over the years on stage, artists developed an approach to performances that are similar to psychological sessions. In the room where the performance passes, there should be no extra sounds, the audience do not sneak the beloved tracks, and they listen silently. So it's easier to feel the mood of the songs, deepen inside yourself. Krasovitsky prefers to start a concert with severe and depressive music, and end with light compositions that give hope.
In 2018, Zero People embodied songs in motion. Based on the repertoire of the 3rd album "Beautiful Life" (2016), the performance "Birth" was created. The director of Inas Ortsumov tried to convey the text of the body by the language using the Associations. The premiere, which took place on the scene of the Bulgakov House Museum, passed with anchlage.
In the same year, the performers released the "Beauty" record. The single became the composition "waited for you", which differs from the rest of the track-sheet to a softer and inspiring sound. While working on the release, the duet refused invited musicians. All songs were recorded in one approach, which was the test for the participants.
Zero People now
In 2019, the artists released the song "Silence", recorded jointly with Tusay Chaykina. Later they presented a dramatic clip.
In the autumn, the team went to the "damn tour" in the cities of Russia.
Now the performers continue to create. Subscribers are followed by the news of the duet on the official website, in Vkontakte and In Stagram, where photos and concert records are published.
