The history of the pop group has had many secrets and inexpensive, according to the most common version, it began in 1988.
It was then that the dark-skinned dancer Rob Pilatus became acquainted with Farce Mervan, and the guys decided to cooperate and began to look for work. Debuting in Munich as showmen and back vocalists, they organized their own group and, selecting the name Milli Vanilli, an album was recorded on a small label.
Since the artistic talent of Morvan and Pilatus left an indifferent demanding public, they adopted the proposal of producer Frank Farian, before that, who worked with Boney M. and other successful European performers, and began to perform in clubs under the phonogram recorded by a number of professional singers.
