An intricate linguistic design of "both rivers" gave the name of the musical group from Voronezh, which is engaged in high-quality drive music, not limited to popular trends. The performers create material where the echoes of different genres are heard - alternative rock, indie, folka and pop rock. The team is not the first ten years old by creative searches that have found an understanding of thousands of loyal listeners.The history of creation and composition
The history of the creation of "both rivers" began to be written in Voronezh, where her soloist and the founder of Denis Mikhailov lived and worked. The first songs of the team - entirely his hand, because at first the guy did not even think about the team, but wrote the tracks under the accompaniment of acoustic guitar. When the material has accumulated enough, began to look for musicians who will help to give out the sketches a full sound.
So in the group, Maxim Litvinov, Alexey Averin and Alexander Kalinin appeared. The guys listened to the classics of foreign and Russian rock, and in the texts they had to the traditions of the latter, which was always famous for the depth of philosophical subtexts. With this, the frontman had everything in order: he studied just at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Voronezh University, and later defended the PhD dissertation there and he taught this subject for the department for seven years.
Perhaps the formation influenced the fact that in the work of Denis does not slide on the surface, and tries to dive deep into, by starting points, consider 3 main topics - love, freedom and death. The date of education of the team is considered to be 2003, when the participants gathered for the first rehearsals, and then began to prepare an album and conduct speeches. Later, Ivan Khakkin (keys) and Alexey Kushshin (back-vocals) joined the "both river". In this composition, the group recorded the first mini-albums and a full "debutnik", but now only Mikhailov remained from those musicians in the team.
At different times, the team was able to play Alexander Bychkov, Mircel Klepikov, Danil Ausunin, Evgenia Gomono, Roman Shchukin, Mikhail Malyshev. Significant changes in the "Both River" occurred in 2012, when the frontman decided to move to Moscow. Here, Timur Avdali bass player, Guitarist Vasily Kashirin and Drummer Vladimir Kovalchuk, who were represented by the group as of 2019.
Music
The debut full-length album "Kalay" was released in 2007, with the material of which the group began to participate in the "Scarf" festivals, "air", and also hit the air "Our Radio". By the time of the release of the 2nd plate "You" in 2008, "both rivers" already becomes a noticeable figure in the space of alternative Russian rock music. They are nominated for the Rock Alternative Music Prize Prize immediately in three categories. A-One TV channel, revealing the bright and current directions of youth culture, regularly highlights the video clips on the air.Meanwhile, the team continues to look for a new sound and work on its own style, and the result of creative searches is the release of "Presence", which has replenished discography in 2010. Since then, artists are invited to "invasion", fall into the "Charto dozen", take clips and, tying the taste of popularity, move into the capital. Here they continue to record new albums, the number of which has already exceeded ten years.
"Both rivers" now
The group continues to work, creating tracks about key experiences and nodal moments of human life. In 2019, the musicians released the "Converter" album, based on materials from the performances of the last two years, as well as a couple of singles - "home" and "bat". Communication with fans of "both rivers" builds through social networks by posting news, photos and videos in "Instagram", "Twitter", in "VKontakte" and on the official website, from where the public lets about the upcoming concerts.
In the fall of 2019, they were issued a lot: in addition to the capitals, Rockers visited Samara, Kaluga, Volgograd and dozens of other cities of Russia. In December, Mikhailov with his comrades got to Chita - the extreme eastern point of the country, then they did not leave before. On the eve of 2020, the group completed the touring season with a concert in Ulan-Ude. Video from the performances of "both rivers" is often laid out on a youtube channel, where clips are also posted.
