The history of the creation of boyz-bend originates in 2011 in Seoul, South Korea. It was formed as part of the Creating Korea's Eminem Project project aimed at the development of hip-hop culture in the country. CHO PD representatives have developed a program for the development of future stars, including choreography and vocals under the guidance of the executors. To develop the ability to work, during study, participants had to write 100 tracks.
As a result, 7 participants entered the team. The leading vocalist was chosen by Tale, and the main rapper and the leader Block B - Zico. These are pseudonyms of singers, whose real names know only the faithful fans.
Music
As a debut, the musicians presented a clip for the FREEZE! Song!, But he fell under the censorship of Korean television, for which the video was too frank. The roller received a 19+ age limit and broadcast after 10 pm.Later, the official presentation of the new group in KBS Music Bank took place. After the release of the mini-album NEW KIDS on The Block, the participants appeared in the show Match Up!, Where talents were demonstrated. Already in the first series, the performers showed a clip for the song Tell Them.
The next mini plate Welcome to The Block also underwent censorship. The Ministry of Family and Gender Equality banned the use of two compositions. This disappeared the participants and caused a negative reaction from the fans, which created a petition with a request to revise the restriction. She was signed by more than 10 thousand people.
At this difficultness did not stop. During the interview in Thailand, the team leader inappropriately joked for floods, which had to survive the local population. It insulted Thailate and led to the etch of musicians on the Internet. Young people had to apologize to the residents of the country, but the conflict did not end. In the ring of repentance Zico shaved sleep, and Block B took a break.
After returning to the scene, Boyz-Bend introduced the Blockbuster album, which took the 4th position in the Korean Charter and got into the top 10 billboard. The participants appeared again in the show Match Up!, In which their life was shown outside the scene. A lot of time was paid to the events of the Thai conflict. It helped to restore the reputation of the group and expand the audience.
Already in January 2013, the star was the focus of attention due to a trial. The performers sued the Stardom Entertainment label, accusing his representatives in the salary delay and extortion of money from their parents. In the spring of the same year, information about the suicide of the general director of the company appeared in the media.
Soon after that, the participants managed to solve the dispute with the agency, and they signed a contract with Seven Seasons. Under the new label, a mini-album Very Good with Single Be The Light, which wrote Zico. The track hit the 6th line in the Korean Music Chart.
The musicians celebrated victory by the release of their own realistic show "Five minutes to Chaos" and the announcement of the next collection. But the presentation had to be postponed due to the national mourning declared after the death of people from the ferry "Sevol". Only a month after the release of the mini-album Jackpot, the team gave a concert in his support.
In 2015, Block B officially debuted in Japan, where I introduced the song Very Good (Japanese Version). The track reached the 7th place in the Billboard Japan Hot 100. Later, the musicians gave concerts in Tokyo, which in 2 days collected 5 thousand people. And after returning to his homeland, they held the first meeting with Korean fans, on which 8 thousand fans were placed in Seoul's handball gymnasium.
A year later, the discography replenished the second Studio album My Zone. Shortly before that, the performers performed at the Saturday Night Live Korea show, where the excerpt from the fanfish about the homosexual relationship between Ziko and Pak Koyne was recreated. The parody fell under censorship due to the ban of gay propaganda among juvenile.
After the release of the track, Yesterday, Bozy Bend first came to the 1st position of the National Chart Korea. The performers celebrated the event by the European Tour Live Blockbuster.
Block B is now
In 2019, three participants of the group took a break for the passage of service in the army. Now the remaining musicians support contact with fans through "Instagram", where news and photos publish.
