Pierre Paolo Pasolini was born on March 5, 1922 in Bologna, Italy. Grew in the family of teacher of primary classes and military together with the younger brother Guidalberto.
After the Father of the boys arrested for debts, the mother decided to move to Casaris della-Delia. To distract from problems in the family, the little Pierre Paolo began to be interested in creativity. Already at the age of 7, he wrote the first verse, inspired by the work of Artur Rembo.
During his studies in high school, Pasolini organized a literary circle, where his friends were. After the issue decided to enter the University of Bologna, where he was carried away by philology and visual art.
Personal life
The director did not hide information about his personal life. In his youth, he admitted himself to a homosexual, and in 1963 he met the actor Nyteno Davody, who was considered a grain lover. Despite the low growth (167 cm), the man enjoyed success in women, including Maria Callas, who hoped to change the orientation of the poet and become his wife.Literature
At 19, the poet published the first collection of poems, which was highly appreciated by literary critics. Soon the young man on the Second World War, and the family had to hide in Casarça della-Delia. After moving, he joined the club of young enthusiasts who fought for the recognition of Friulian as a second state.

When the war ended, the young man worked as a teacher in high school and participated in the political life of the region, but soon he lost his position because of the conflict with the Church. After the sex scandal with his participation, Pasolini moved to Rome.
In a new place, a man continued to engage in creativity. He published Roman "Schpana", based on observations of Roman youth. The work of the prose was positively perceived by readers, but underwent censorship due to the frank scenes.
Films
In the early stages of the career in the cinema Pierre Paolo wrote scripts for films. Thanks to him, the world saw the "woman of the river" with Sophie Loren starring, "Stormy Night" and "Girl on the Showcase". After acquaintance with Federico, Fellini Pasolini participated in the creation of scenes for the "Sweet Life" and "Night of the Cabiria".Soon the man decided to shoot his own films. His debut work "Accatonna" is based on the stories of prostitutes, pimps and thieves, which are shown against the background of Italy's economic reforms. The critic Nick Barbaro called the ribbon the most gloomy of all he saw. Despite the scandal that broke around the plot, Pasolini continued the director's career.
The new picture "Mom Roma" was also lifted in the spirit of neorealism and tells about the former prostitute, which is trying to start a new life. But already when creating a scenario for the next film, the author decided to move away from the usual style. He took the biblical plot as a basis, which shielded in the tape "Gospel from Matthew". The drama received the award of the Venetian Film Festival and was noted award of the National Council of the US film critics.

The filmography replenished "King Edip", in which the actions of the tragedy of Sofokla were transferred to the realities of the 20th century. Later, the parable of "Medea", based on the free interpretation of the work of Sofokla, was published.
Success to the director brought a comedy "Decameron", in which the novels of Giovanni Brokeccho were used. The picture won the prize of the Berlin Film Festival. "Canterbury stories" and "Flower of Thousand and One Night" came as a continuation.
The last film of the star "Salo, or 120 days of Sodom" received controversial assessments of critics and was banned in the rental of several countries because of the abundance of violence, sexual scenes and perversions.
Death
On November 2, 1975, Pierre Paolo found killed on the beach in Ostia. The cause of death was the rupture of the internal organs as a result of the car's departure, which drove through the body of Pasolini several times. The perpetrators in the death of the director did not find it. Initially, Giuseppe Pelosi admitted, but he refused his words in 2005.
