The authors of the history of the GOOD CHARLOTTE group, called the Children's Book, became the twins of Benji and Joel Madden, born in the small town of Maryland in the small town of Central Asia Maryland. This approach to creativity, unusual for the genre of punk music, pleased with the public and brought the group success. The second disc The Young and The Hopeless fell to the tops of the hit parade, especially remembering the song of the Story of My Old Man. Another track Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous was headed by pop and rock charts and in September 2002 was released as a separate single, which later created a video, where the singer Chris Kirkpatrick starred, and American Bill Fishman was played as director.
In 2004, after receiving a number of awards and premiums, Good Charlotte decided to expand the audience and released a lyrical album. Youth did not accept this idea, saying that the Chronicles of Life and Death is focused on 40-year-olds, nevertheless, at concerts, he listened to the songs Predictable, Secrets and S.O.S.
