The hero invented the English writer Alan Moore, and painted the artist Dave Gibbons. Present character name - Walter Joseph Kovach. He received a nickname due to the white mask closing face with black spots, which all the time move and form an outline, similar to the stains from the Rorshah dough. Walter was born in 1940 in a disadvantaged family. His mother was engaged in prostitution, and the boy did not know anything except the name - Charlie. As a child, he was pretty received from the peers, and from the parent, who disappeared the malice for the unresolved fate. After the next scandal, law enforcement agencies were interested in the family, and by decision of the court, the boy was placed in the shelter.In a relatively peaceful atmosphere of the orphanage, Walter relaxed and began to pay time for study by manifesting interest in literature and history, as well as talent for boxing and gymnastic exercises. At the age of 16, he received news of the cruel murder of the mother, but it was indifferent to him.
Having finished learning, the young man found work at the garment factory. It was there that he discovered a cut of a two-layer tissue with a filler in the form of a black liquid reacting to pressure and heat and forging symmetric stains. From her, the hero sewed the famous mask and began to go outside at night to search for criminals and immediate justice.
The turning point of the biography of the hero was his first murder. Until 1975, Walter left the victims of alive justice, but during the next case, fell into rage, burned the next criminal alive. From now on, Rorshah threw the work, betrayed the former name and began to consider a mask with his true face.
Like the remaining keepers, Rorschi is an ordinary person of low (168 cm) growth with a non-neosk appearance that does not have supernatural abilities. His weapons are physical strength, imbibular character and unprecedented ingenuity. He dependsably adapts to the attack and defense of the primed items, for example, a cylinder of a lacquer for hair, their own clothes, hanger, toilet, boiling oil.
On the pages of the comic Rorshah invariably appears in the same suit - a long brown raincoat, strict trousers and a hat. With him, he is constantly wearing only a flashlight, forever turning out to be faulty, and a hook-gun, presented to him by another. Who is hidden under the mask of the new Rorschah, it is not fully clear to the end, but in any case he is only the shadow of the old hero, his imitator: Kovach was famous for uncompromising, which confirm the quotes from the original comic book, and his follower was not bent negotiations and even concessions.
Rorschi in films
In the screening of 2009, Rorschach's role was performed by actor Jackie Earl Haley. Despite the fact that almost the whole film he spent with an opaque mask on his face, he managed to create an image of a charismatic and non-bank hero. Rorschi in the cinema does not quite correspond to the book description - there he is more cruel and from the very beginning, without thinking, resorts to the murder. In the plot, the hero is in prison, and after escape finds his death in Antarctica.
Rorschi is also a Watchmen video game character: The End Is Nigh, released in 2009. In it, the player can try on the role of a mysterious murderer in a mask and together with another superhero, night owl, find the mysterious twilight lady.
