The initial composition of the Bad Religion group differed somewhat in which the team acts now. The history of the creation began in 1980, when four musicians united and decided to record songs. On the drums was Jayraouth, on the bass guitar - Ja Bentley, on the guitar - Brett Gurevich, and Greg Graffin became a soloist. To create music and songs, Gurevich founded his own studio.
After the release of the debut EP and before the release of the first full-fledged plate, Peter Finestone took place on the drums. And it was not the only replacement of the group's participants - after a while, the team left the bass guitarist and the drummer, instead of them with musicians began to perform other artists. And in 1984, Gurevich temporarily abandoned joint speeches, leaving the collate for the responsibility of the Graffin, the only participant from the initial composition. It was necessary to make it because of the addiction to drugs, from which a man was treated.
After he returned, for all the time the career, the team has changed not yet once. Now the vocal is still Greg Graffin, and Gurevich - on the guitar and backing vocals. Jee Bentley took the bass guitarist, guitarists Brian Baker and Mike Dimkich joined them. In 2015, the place of the striker took Jamie Miller.

Immediately after the combination, the musicians started recording songs. At first they presented a mini-album. In 1982, the artists pleased the listeners a debut studio disk, called How Could Hell Be Any Worse? His release was successful, afterwards the record began to call the standard of hard rock punk.To the sound of the next album INTO THE UNKNOWN, many punks were skeptical, as some songs were present a synthesizer, which is uncharacteristic for such music. But the new ep back to the known quickly returned faith fans into a bright future team. In the next 3 years about Bad Religion, almost nothing was known. And they declared themselves about themselves only in 1988, releasing the Suffer plate. Her success was so great that soon the team conclude a contract offered a large label Atlantic Records.
Collaboration with a recording company in 1994 presented a new stranger than Stranger than Stranger Than Fiction to the Bad Religion fans. At the same time, the musicians visited the world tour, performed and filmed clips. The next album did not achieve such success as the previous one. But the release of the No Substance plate (published in 1998) they noted a series of concerts in clubs.
In 2000, the discography of musicians replenishes the new album The New America, which later recognized their best work. Songs for him, the group recorded on the island free from tourists, along with producer Toddom Rundgren, who worked with other popular artists. Despite the loud success, Atlantic Records stops working with Bad Religion. And then the team makes another contract, this time with EpitaPh Records. In 2002, on the new label, they release the disk The Process of Belief.
A couple of years, the musicians worked at the same pace, once every 2-3 years representing new discs fans. After releasing the True North plate in 2013 and removing the title song to the same name, for a while the group disappeared from the sight of fans.
