The comedy "Beware of the car" was put by director Eldar Ryazanov and the playwright Emil Braginsky in 1966. The first joint project liked the audience, although the decision on the shooting was taken long. The editors of Goskino liked the idea, but thefts did not cause approval for the sake of justice.
After the filmmakers have published a story about a kid in the journal "Young Guard", it was decided to resume the project. The print version received positive feedback and, as the editors were afraid, did not become a reason for the reason so that people began to steal cars.

Upon returning home, the dealer is already waiting for Maxim Pogbestov. Before arresting the hijacker, he decides to know the motives of crimes. The main character tells the truth, and the investigator decides to release the modern Robin Hood with the condition of ceasing.
But Yura is no longer able to stop. Seeing the familiar Volga, which, in theory, belongs to the bribe, the insurance agent reappears a crime. To be fully honest, he drives a trophy to the police department, and there it is arrested.
