September 23 became the day when famous cultural figures came to this world - Yanush Jerzy Gayos in 1939, Edward Radzinsky in 1936, Anton Lirnik in 1976. The future legend of Polish cinema was born in the city of Dombrov-Gurnich in the first days of the attack of the German Armed Forces on the "White Plan".
