The history of the creation of the ELISIUM Group is connected with Nizhny Novgorod. It was there that in 1995 the first concert of young musicians passed, the main principle of which was creative freedom. The team decided not to limit himself with a specific genre, and therefore played punk rock, seasoned SKA, jazz, metal and even echoes of the Soviet pop.
The ideological inspirer of the group was Dmitry Kuznetsov, but if the leader in most teams is a soloist, then the founder played the founder on the Bass guitar. He was not a professional musician, however, receiving 2 diplomas about higher education in the field of architecture and finance, decided to devote himself to creativity. As a name, they chose a word leaving roots to Greek mythology, its value is associated with perpetual bliss and harmony. Since its founding, the composition of the participants has repeatedly changed, and the origins stood a soloist and guitarist Ekaterina Zudina and the keyboard player Alex Repvyev. In this form, the group worked on a debut album and conducted rehearsals.
The first exit of Nizhny Novgorod to the public took place in the "Manhattan" club, after which they came close to the speeches. For a couple of years, Elysium has given fifty concerts in his hometown, but soon the musicians became closely at home. In the late 1990s, the group decided to conquer Moscow. By the time, Dmitry Danilin and Alexander Telukov also appeared in its composition. The last to this day takes the place of the frontman.
In 2000, there were noticeable personnel permutations in the team, and most of the participants left him for family and creative reasons. As a result, new and well-forgotten faces appeared in Eliasum - Trubuch Alexander Komarov, drummer Alexey Kuznetsov, thrombonist Sergey Tremasov.
Nizhny Novgorod tried to complicate the sound and acquired new instrumentalists. At various times in the group managed to sing and play Rimma Chernikhevich, Ksenia Sidorina, Kirill Krylov and Dmitry Sotnikov. As a result, after the many parishes and the care of the participants, by 2021, 6 musicians turned out to be 6 musicians: a cellist and keyboard player Yegor Baranov were added to the "long-livers" of Kuznetsov and Tehnikov, Dr. Maxim Burmakov, Timofey Sturgeon and Guitarist Alexander Legasov.
Music
The guys wrote their own songs and exercised in arrangements, creating original energetic cables on well-known compositions - both on the classics of foreign rock and on Soviet hits. The path to the widespread listener "Elysium" paved through "Our Radio", which twisted the tracks of the "Islands", "not sad", "three white horse", and the latter not one week kept in a "charter dozen".As a result, the punk group from Nizhny Novgorod found fans across the country, in parallel to acquire friends from Russian Rock Tusovka. In their company Elysium began to perform on the "invasions" and other musical festivals.
After the success of the album "All Islands!", Published in 2002, the team arranged the first touring tour of the cities of Russia. "Elysium" gained fame, commercial success and was not going to stop. Returning discography with new plates, the group complicated music, experimented with texts, asking them social sound.
Each of the albums of the collective has its own tonality and coloring. If the first plate "Home" was distinguished by fast, laconic, rigidly guitar songs with pop melodies and primitive texts, then the third Cosmos disk, recognized as fans the best release of the team, was already full of the Zador and the romantics of young people looking for their way.
Accustomed to charge the public by positive Nizhny Novgorod sought to go to a new level by taking a more serious note. Musicians tried to grow and develop, leaving the frivolity towards the gloomy lyrics. They were singing about war, moral issues and environmental issues.
"Elysium" openly spoke about politics, class prejudices and violence. The group did not hide their opposition views and on the eve of the 2012 presidential election called on the listeners to vote against Vladimir Putin and the United Russia Party. The context of the time is dedicated to the song "Hell OUR!".

Now the group continues to give concerts on Russian sites. On the news and creative plans, the team notifies fans through the official website and accounts in "Instagram", "Facebook" and "VKontakte". Elisium also has a Youtyub-channel, where concert records and video clips are placed.
In April 2021, the next presentation took place in the Moscow "Glavkluba", but it almost fell at risk of cancellation. The fact is that the musicians wanted to fulfill the new track "Hello, this is Navalny", placing an opposition photo with a call to give freedom to political prisoners. They were prescribed to replace the background or refuse to meet with listeners. Elysium preferred the first option and sang a song under the image of the starry sky.
