Childhood and youth

Boris Arkadyevich Diodorov was born in November 1934 in the family of the Moscow artist-designer and his wife. The boy grew under the supervision of the grandfather, who worked as the director of the three-neighboring manufactory and gathered the classic library before the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

The future illustrator lived in the center of the capital in a spacious 8-room apartment and thanks to regular classes, I learned early to read and write. In an interview, he told that she leafed the books in the morning and until late Night, and only the order could go to sleep.

Personal life

Boris Diodorre sometimes talks about the details of personal life, but does not like to remember marriage with actress Lyudmila Gurchenko. He was probably not happy with this talented, but the wayward woman, who in the early 70s thought only about the movies.

The second wife of the illustrator artist was the beauty of Karina Filippov, by the time of dating divorced and partially lost faith in people. Boris breathed a new life into this woman, for many years she became the faithful girlfriend. Judging by joint photographs, the couple spent a lot of bright days.

Creation

Creating pictures on literary topics, Diodoruses found her own niche and soon became a famous artist in his homeland and abroad. Recognition came after the design of the "Wonderful Travel of Niels with wild geese", and the awards of national competitions gradually began to fill the house.

The favorite writers of young Boris, drawing watercolor and watercolor, were Pavel Bazhov, Hans Christian Andersen, Lev Cassille and Alan Miln. In the 1970s, the master did the covers for their works, in parallel creating a number of independent adult paintings.
