The cartoon character has a literary prototype. The image was presented by Kowell Cresan, the British writer and the author of the idea of friendship between mythical beings and vikings.
A group of professionals animators worked on the embodiment of the literary plan. The scripts decided to beat the concept and move the story a few years ago. Thus, the audience in the first part of the cartoon saw the prequel, which describes the period when the Vikings managed to tame the majestic animals.
Differences are traced between the pictures-illustrations of a toothless in books and a cartoon version. So, in Crespses Kowell, this is a small red-green dragon from the family of Middraconus Gianticus Maximus. He is in the stories of the writer at all degraded teeth. Viking tried to demonstrate the rest that the dragons are not monsters and it is easy to make friends with them, but the crossed is frightened and becomes dangerous.
