Igor's parent - immigrants from Ukraine, although a boy was born in the Soviet Leningrad in 1961. Here the father, driven by the romantic dream of long-haired waters, studied in the Supreme Naval School. M. V. Frunze. His wife Tamara arrived in the northern capital to give birth next to her husband. After 2 months, a young couple moved to Dnepropetrovsk, where Igor's parent began to study at the State University.
So the city on the Dnieper became native for the boy. Here, for the first time he felt love for music and learned to play a violin in a music school. But this child turned out to be a little, and he began to comprehend the basics of playing the guitar, and he did not stop at the troyer of chords, but brought the ownership of the instrument hardly to perfection. The ensemble was popular not only among girls, but also from school teachers who unanimously recognized the talent of a young musician. Having gave the debt to the motherland, Latvko did not return to Dnepropetrovsk, and moved to Leningrad, where it settled to work in the 79th store as a deputy head. The housing career promised material well-being, but the love of music took her. Igor began to study in a jazz school, in parallel working. Personal life
About personal life the musician prefers not to spread. In 1986, Latvko organized his own group "New World", where he began to perform his own songs, among whom were "gray rain" and "Strange Girl", entering the debut album. Despite the fact that in the early 1990s, the musical industry was collapsed along with the country, "the new light" was kept afloat, giving concerts and participating in popular youth programs on television. By the mid-1990s, the group broke up, and Latushko tried to establish himself as a solo artist, but soon switched to producer activity. He tried to promote new artists, including Margarita Nikolskaya, Oleg Bayanov, Oxygen Group and SPb Boyis. However, the most fruitful direction at that time was the writing of songs for other performers.
Compositions written for Tatiana Bulanova become hits, so that in 2004 the author is recognized by the laureate of the "Song of the Year". Another creative stage of the biography was associated with the project "Star Factory", in the 6th season of which Victor Drobysh invited Igor as a composer.
