The plot of the adventures of Winnie Poha was born from conversations of the English writer with the son of Christopher Robin. The boy after visiting the zoo presented a teddy bear, which became a prototype for the main character of the stories.
Other animals that appeared in the ones, as well as Winnie Pooh, were also written off from Christopher toys. Moreover, some of them are Kenga and Tigger - were purchased for the development of plot lines. But as for the rabbit and owls - they are the only ones who were invented by the author.
It is probably why the intelligence of these animals with others is contrasted in the narration and opposed. So, Winnie Pooh is constantly regretting that he has "sawdust in the head". And the rabbit, in turn, is divided with the owl that only they have brains and they can think.
