Plot
In the resort town of Svelomorsk, where the tourist season begins in the summer, mysterious deaths occur: people die from an unknown disease in a matter of hours. Local doctors are lost in guesses and cause counterparts from the capital. Moscow epidemiologists who arrived at the resort are going to close the city for quarantine. However, such a decision does not like local residents and businessman Gleb Valentinovich. The closure of the city will deprive their main source of income, so local "authority" is trying to bribe doctors.In parallel, the details of the Last Life of Heroes are clarified: the capital epidemiologist Evgeny Levin is the former husband of Catherine, the present Gleb's wife.
