Like its teachers, Anaximen developed ideas about the origin. The biography of Anaximna makes grains, many times have preserved about its teachings. Even the date of birth remains a mystery. Scientists believe that the philosopher was born in the largest ancient Greek city of Millet (now the territory of Turkey) or in 585 BC, either in the 560th. The history of Anaximen does not have chronology. For example, there is no information when he became a student of Anaximandra. Fortunately, the works of the philosopher did not undergo such oblivion and fragmentary reached the present day.

Miletsky school laid the beginning of philosophy as a science in ancient Greece. The main question that tormented the ancient philosophers is, which is the primary thing. Fales believed that "everything is from the water and everything in water," Anaximandr gave his first name - Aperon, which means the eternal indefinite element, boundless and infinite.
Anaximen suggested that the substrate serves as the air - everything is made of which the world consists of, formed due to thickening or disagreement of this element. A similar point of view was adhered to Diogenes Apollonian - Naturofilosopher, which developed his ideas outside of schools.
Air is a colorless and infinite substance that does not have a material embodiment. Its impossible to touch and feel. And it is the lack of familiar bodily qualities that makes the air of the Arhea, that is, the first element.
According to the ideas of Anaximen, the world consists of air in different states. Discharged air, that is, heated, generates fire, and on a global scale - heavenly shine: the sun and the moon. Water, precipitation, land and stones are a consequence of coencing air or cooling it.
Anaximen calls the air in honor, because it is necessary for breathing item. If there is no this element, the plants will suspend their height and will soon die, and the hearts of people and animals will stop fighting. In other words, according to mitets, the breath is life, soul. There will be no air - and everything will die.
Although by nature, Anaximen was a man pragmatic, he did not deny the existence of the gods. Other philosophers endowed them with the highest function - the creation of ARCHE. Anaximen of his associates did not support. In his opinion, the gods were not generated by air, and they themselves consisted of this element. In other words, they were a produce of the material substrate and were essentially not divine.
Anaximen made a significant contribution to meteorology, astronomy, psychology, geography, etc. So, watching nature, he was one of the first to say that Grad is a frozen water from a cloud, and hail with the addition of air there is snow. The celestial bodies of Miletz paid special attention. One of his main discoveries was that planets and stars - this is not the same thing: if the first, according to Anaximna, there is something similar land, then the second is a consequence of the accumulation of earth evaporation.
Death
Like a personal life, the detailed information about the death of Anaximna is not preserved, including the most important date.
Foreign Internet sources argue that the philosopher left life in 526 to our era, having lived 50 years. Experts from Russia and CIS countries cannot come to a single point of view, as in the case of the date of birth. They believe that Anaximen died either in the 525th, or in 502 to our era. The cause of death is most likely not unnatural.
