Childhood and youth

Oleg Leonidovich Lundstrem was born on April 2, 1916 in the Trans-Baikal Territory of the Russian Empire in the intelligent family. Personal life

On the personal life of Oleg Lundstrema, a little known to Jazz lovers, with his wife - actress Galina Zhdanova lived for more than 40 years. The family couples did not have any known reasons for anyone, but they did not burn on this, they loved each other and did not know the troubles.

In the mid-1960s, the head of the popular orchestra bought land in the suburbs and built a spacious house. The family of his native brother Igor often rented room there, so spouses rarely managed to stay together.

Working in the Cultural Center in Kazan, Oleg collected like-minded people and recorded instrumental compositions for programs entering the radio. Sometimes concerts were arranged on the improvised sites, which he learned about the world erased over time.

During this period, Lundstrem soloists were the Future Stars of the stage - Alla Pugacheva and Valery Ozodzinsky revealed their talent there. Later, the beginning of their career in one of the best Soviet orchestras envied every professional musician.

In October 2005, the heart of the Great Jazzman could not stand: the cause of his death has become a developing alert over the years. Relatives said that the musician was sick diabetes and in recent years was forced to limit time on labor and leisure.
