In 2005 for personal reasons, Sanchez left the staff of the team. From now on, Eric began to compose music alone. Deep Forest albums, nevertheless, reached the vertices of prestigious charts, won platinum certificates and penetrated into the souls to the very deep.
Music
The debut plate of the French group received a nomination for the Grammy Award due to the original mixture of folk singing of African tribes. Sweet Lullaby is a title song, published by a separate single, in America and European countries, they recognized as a real hit.Forest Hymn dance compositions, Savana Dance and Deep Forest also acquired popularity and glorified the team. The authors sought to convey to the public their admiration for nations who lived in unity with nature and pristine beauty. Having been in the society of indigenous inhabitants of the Solomon Islands and the Republic of Congo, Eric Flour and Michel Sanchez occurred to their fate.
Unfortunately, some organizations accused the authors in the plagiarism and the illegal use of the works of distant from the work of people. In order to avoid the scandal, the funds from the sale of the record were aimed at supporting poor African families.
In mid-1994, an album, complemented by new tracks, was reprinted on the Columbia Records label and submitted to the public of different countries. Now this rare publication with unique compositions owns every fan of the group and born in the 80s Meloman.
