Bubble Comics publishing house was founded in 2011 by the son of Aram Gabrolyanova-Artem. Initially, the magazine ridiculed public life and show business. Stories were not popular, and then it was decided to replace the humorous context by superhero-scenes.
The author of the comic came up with the "magnificent four" - Poota, Inoka, Red Furia and Igor Thunder. The latter presented an archetypal image of a policeman, honest and incorruptible. At first glance, this character would organically fit into any detective television series.
However, the role of a man who diligently follows the letter of the law turned out to be interesting for readers. In addition, Igor does not have investigative operational work. In his tense schedule there is no place for routine affairs, because the city threatens a dangerous maniac.
The series debuted in 2012 and went down to the year until 2017. The scripts decided that the introduction into the plot of the descriptions of topical topics would be a successful move. And they were not lost - the victims of the killer turned out to be people who for one or another signs were familiar to the audience from news reports.
In addition, the creators of the comic did not lose both the types and ominous events. For example, references to the "white ribbons" - a movement that symbolizing opposition moods in society was traced on the magazine's pages.
In order to avoid unambiguity of judgment in opposition to an honest policeman, an ambiguous character was presented. And there are objective reasons, because the audience began to test positive emotions to the maniac. Igor Thunder is characterized by the qualities of the exemplary minor law enforcement agencies. This is an experienced investigator who, despite age, has already demonstrated an irreconcilable position regarding violators of the law.The main protagonist of the series feels the need to establish justice. But rarely goes with a talented tactic calculates the moves, prevailing the consequences of each step.
He clearly follows the law, and the moral principles for it is not an empty sound. He has a developed logical thinking and intuition, besides the creators of the character endowed him truly incredible physical strength and endurance. Therefore, he practically leaves a chance to hide the criminal.
In the pictures, the superhero comic was depicted a high dark-haired young man with a recognizable feature of appearance - eyebrows in the form of a lightning. In accordance with the traditions of detectives, Igor bears a cap and a scarf, which miraculously remain in their places even after versions and fights.
The character's biography was marked by the appearance of a serial killer in St. Petersburg. A plague doctor is painted with corrupt officials, elite representatives. Igor is taken for business, and in the assistants, Dmitry Dububin is given to him - a graduate of the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the investigation, the main character meets the young journalist, which selflessly behaves the information war with the maniac. Julia Pchiekina helps a policeman, a romantic relationship arise between them.
Igor managed to declassify the identity of the villain, but subsequently it turns out that the arrested man has nothing to do with the plague doctor. Disappointed thunder is removed from affairs, but this is not a reason to lower your hands.
As a result, Major is guessed who hidden under the medieval mask. It was a public figure, the head of the social network Sergei Razumovsky. Further events are somehow faced them in different circumstances.
After Razumovsky manages to escape from prison, Yulia Pchiekina dies from his hands. For igno, it is already acquired by a personal character - now the capture of a dangerous criminal is not only his professional duty, but also a matter of revenge.
In the continuation of the plot, Artem Gabrelyanov decides to engage already familiar heroes of other comics. For example, a female character from the "Red Fury" series is becoming a "package" of thunder - Nika Chaykin.
Major himself falls under the ancient Divine of Kutha, who changes his consciousness. The man starts hallucinations, because of what he decides to put the course of antidepressants. At the same time, the police officer is dealing with criminal authority under the pseudonym of the shadow.
He helps the investigator Kosygin, who previously stated his own death. But afterwards Igor understands that the new partner is a killer. The situation is glowing, thunder begins to be confused in his own memories and decides to see a doctor.
At the reception at the psychiatrist, a man sets out the problem. The doctor listens attentively to the patient, and at the end diagnoses the identity of the Igor. The reader understands that Kosygin is the dark side of the thunder, and all the crimes, allegedly committed them, is the work of the policeman. The comic finale is predictable - Major lies in the clinic in order to cure disorder.
Major Thunder in films
Plans for the adaptation of the comic book, according to Artem Gabrolyanov, there was still a release of the first series of the magazine. A few years later, the development of the script began. Before you remove a full-length film, it was decided for sample to put a short film.
Vladimir Besedin became the director. Information about the cast was not disclosed for a long time. Alexander Gorbatova was invited to the main role. Removed a picture of the robbery in St. Petersburg in a building on a snowy square, which was previously used as a branch of the Baltic Bank.
The budget of the film amounted to $ 1 million, invested in the project by Aram Gabrolyanov. The composer Roman Seliverstov was engaged in writing soundtracks. The exit of the full-length Russian film in the genre of superhero film was announced in 2018.
