The history of the creation of the American group began thanks to Thomas Yangblad, who at the age of 15 acquired the first tool. After the death of the father, the gifted schoolboy moved from Virginia to Florida, dreaming to become a famous musician and conquer cultural light.
Regular performing practices in non-professional rock collectives contributed to the development of a sense of rhythm and the skills of the virtuoso game. Introducing immature compositions, liked advanced peers, a beginner metallist got rid of the feeling of loss and chanders.
In mid-1991, Thomas met Richard Vorner, who, being a drummer, was looking for people close to the spirit. The guys joined the efforts and started joint rehearsals to embody dozens of creative ideas into reality.
Over time, the duet composition expanded - Mark Vanderbilt and Sean Tibbets became an integral part of the project called Kamelot. Choosing a metal and alternative as a fundamental styles, participants distributed the responsibilities in the world of long-studied notes.
In the mid-1990s, there were changes in the team: Roy Khan became a new vocalist and the creator of dozens of hits. The founder has enlisted support for a number of instrumentalists and achieved a unique sound.
Now Kamelot is a full soloist Tommy Karevik, and Thomas Youngblade, a permanent participant, supports a colleague in everything. Metalist Sean Tibbets, Alex Landenburg and Oliver Palotia do everything that fans feel a mental lift.
Music
Career Kamelot started in mid-1988, guys released the Breaking The Silence song for a cluster collection of Floridian hits. On the basis of the city of Tampa, the Fourth Legacy album was recorded, then a concert collection appeared, which contained a dozen hits. Music, presented on speeches in Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, absorbed almost all the features of the alternative to the 90s.
In the 2000s, the American metal group interpreted the legend of Faust, the Black Halo and Epica discs had a bright video sequence. Hot reception at the Graspop Metal Meeting festival, held in Belgium, became for immigrants from Florida the highest possible awards.

The plate that fell in Billboard 200 was spinning during the world tour, in which the backbone of the group and a number of invited singers participated. The role of Headliner Kamelot appeared on alternative festivals held in America and Europe in the early 2010s.
During the tour called Pandemonium, the world found out about the new vocalist - Metalist Tommy Karevik participated in the record of the Silverthorn disk. The joy of loyal fans, the group gave concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and then released another studio album.
The change of the leader was reflected in the release called Haven. The tour who advertised new songs continued for a year and a half. In parallel with the organization of the show, the musicians thought over the next record, in 2018 the Shadow Theory finally appeared.
In the American charts of The Mission and Burns to Embrace, they hit the top ten, putting forward the authors on the peak. Critics and fans celebrated professional arrangements, intersection with classic melodies and metaphorical language.
In the Amazon Hard Rock & Metal rating, the album took the 1st place, the positions of the musicians strengthened the Clips of Mindfall Remedy and Amnesiac. Hundreds of fans who came to concerts in the cities of Japan and Australia, dressed in branded t-shirts and kept the brand flag.
Successful replenishment of discography allowed Kamelot to return to Europe. The group organized concerts with support for Sonata Arctica and Battle Beast. In honor of the 30-year anniversary scheduled for the 2021th, the musicians promised listeners to release a new full-fledged release.
