The creators of the series and in Tver were chosen, where the attention of cinematographers was attracted by the Morozovsky town extremely suitable for its appearance, on the streets of which it was possible to reliably recreate a piece of life from the second half of the 40s.
I had to work out not only decorators with operators. Not less responsibility fell on the shoulders of the artist-performers of major roles.
So, Andrei Burkovsky, for whom the series "An hour before dawn" became the third historical project after the "Legend of Kovovrat" and "Tobol", not only spent a lot of time on consultation with the director and colleagues. But he revised many films and serials dedicated to post-war time. This, according to the actor, helped the image.
And at the TV series Olga Alena Mikhailov recognized that this role was made harder to her than all the previous ones. Including because the shooting had to stop for three months - the pandemic of coronavirus infection with forced self-insulation intervened. So the date of the exit had to be transferred - from the fall of 2020 for February 2021.
