Oleg was born in the city of Naryan Mare, located in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, October 12, 1989. The boy became a third child in a creative family. After graduating from the university, Oleg moved to the capital, where he filmed commercials and video for several years. Since 2013, he collaborated with Hype Production, creating material for market giants like Nokia, Nike, Yandex and others. Trofim removed a documentary project for PayPal payment system. This work gathered more than 20 Russian and international awards and premiums. In addition, the director has repeatedly became the nominee of the prestigious festival of Berlin Music Video Awards for installation and director.

Oleg Trofim did not have a shortage of commercial orders for clips, so at first did not make a bet on the implementation in the field of filmmaking. But in 2020 he launched at once 2 projects. The first was a fantasy series called "Horizon". The acting project of the project included Alexey Kravchenko, Irina Star'shenbaum, Philip Avdaev and others.The plot of the series develops around a small company of people who hides in the bunker during the terrible virus epidemic. The premiere took place at the PREMIER site and attracted the attention of Eastern producers. Representatives of China and South Korea concluded agreements on the broadcast of the project in these countries.
For 2021, the yield of the tape "Major Thunder: a plague doctor" is scheduled. This is the first superhero tape in the creative biography of Oleg Trofim. The taser of the picture for the first time presented at the Event "Igromir / Comicon Con Russia 2017". The tape is based on the plot borrowed from the comic about the character of the same name. The main role was performed by Tikhon Vishavsky.
Now the director continues to work in the creative sphere, removing clips and engage in realization in cinema, periodically gives interviews.
