The work of the group "Red Maki" has become a whole epoch in Soviet music of the 70-90s. The ensemble was repeatedly recognized by the winner of song contests, made original arrangements for other popular performers. The history of the creation of the ensemble dates back to 1976. Then, on the basis of the Donetsk Plant, they decided to form their own vocal instrumental team. The composition of the participants was gained from students of the Donetsk Music School. Arkady Havslavsky was the artistic director of the project.
At that time, the group was called "Kaleidoscope", and the performers received a salary as employees of the factory enterprise. In 1974, the team was invited to a permanent job in Syktyvkar Philharmonic. Here VIA changed the name to the "Parma". And a year later, Tula Philharmonic offered talented musicians to move to the city, famous for weapons.
In Tula, a constant name of the team appeared. After 1977, a split occurred in the ensemble. Some of the musicians remained with Arkady Khaslavsky and began working in the Vladimir Regional Philharmonic in the format of the Hello, Song group. "Red Maki" remained at the Tula Philharmonic. From the first composition there were only Valery Chumenko, headed by the team, vocalist Alexander Grigoriev and Guitarist Vladimir Ponomarenko.
Via quickly collected new artists. The Nadezhda Kusakina became a bright member of the project, the former leading transmission of the "Wyry Circle". Ruslan Gorobets became the music director of this period in the group. In 1986, Valery ChuMenko renamed the team in Maki. By the end of the 80s, the ensemble listened to listeners, in fact, ceased to exist.
In 2003, the draft "Via Red Maki - XXI" appeared on the stage, which was not popular with the public. His leader became Alexander Kasatkin.
In 2015, the revival of the "Poppers" of the 1986 sample was revived. The recreated project was headed by Yuri Podornvanov and soloist Konstantin Semchenko-Lensky.
Music
In the second half of the 70s, when the group separated from the Arcadia Khaslavsky project, the musicians began to perform the original compositions in the genre of the Soviet pop song with elements of jazz-rock. The arranger to the tracks spoke Vitaly Kretov, who later became the artist of the ensemble "Pieya, Song". Also, several tools for the project created Mikhail Shufutinsky at that time.Over time, pop rock sounds and the spirit section that became the merit of Pavl Zaguna was intensified in the group's stylist. In the early 80s, the team collaborated with the young talented composer Vyacheslav Dobrynin. In his debut giant, the tracks "If you leave", "you don't need", "Alien You" performed by the "red poppies". On the eve of the Olympic Games, the band released the album "circling discs". The arrangement of songs in the disco-format was made by Yuri Chernavsky, and the main composition, which gave the name of the record, for several months in a row, occupied the top lines in the Hit Parades of the USSR.
In the mid-80s, the main composer of the songs of the ensemble became Ruslan Gorobets. The author's creations belonged to such horses like "Star Dilizhans", "time rushing" and others. Since 1983, part of VIA musicians began to work in parallel in the group Alla Pugacheva "Recital". Together with the Primate Artists, the concert program "came and I say" was prepared.
In 1984, an "anti-fiber" campaign began in the USSR, based on the results of which were prohibited for listening to 75 foreign groups and almost 50 Soviet musical groups and singers. For violation of the resolution, a penalty was introduced equal to three monthly salary or imprisonment to two years. As a result, "Red Maki" hit the blacklist, could not appear on radio and television, giving concerts.
Many participants left the project without seeing prospects. In 1986, Valery Chumenko renamed Via in Maki. In the same year, the renewed team made his debut in the program "Blue Spark", where he presented the song of Vladimir Matsky and Mikhail Shabrova "so happened." Later, the public saw idols at the "Song of the Year" festival. Here the musicians performed the "Miracle Land" track to the music of David Tukhmanov and the words of Mikhail Tanich.
