Anton Viktorovich Rodennkov was born in Gomel on September 22, 1990. There is practically nothing about childhood and adolescence of a political figure. He graduated from the Gymnasium named after Blaise Pascal and entered the Minsk State Linguistic University, where he studied international relations. Then he received a higher education in the Belarusian National Technical University with a degree in Financial Analytics. On September 7, 2020, information about the abduction of Rodnenkov in the company of other oppositionists of Mary Kolesnikova and Ivan Kravtsov appeared in Belarusian media. A day later, it became known that they went to Ukraine. The behavior of public figures was regarded as escape.
The version of Rodnenkov was different from the assumptions voiced by state bodies. In an interview, Anton explained that he and Kravtsov received a message about the detention of chariot. Without the opportunity to go to the connection with her, they went home to Mary, where they were captured by unknown. They were taken to the gap office, without providing explanations of what was happening, and then transported to another compartment. Subsequently, the activist was in the Department of Financial Investigations of the CGC RB. His status as a prisoner did not voiced.
According to Rodenenkova and Kravtsov, expressed at a press conference, the security forces tried to take them with the head of the Coordination Council Maria Kolesnikova from the country. Like-minded people divided into different cars. Being on the border, Kolesnikova managed to destroy their passport. Anton and Ivan were in the car at the entrance to the border post when it happened. According to Ivan Kravtsov, the car also had the necessary documents on the names of oppositionists for the flight to Turkey, and for Mary - in Munich.
The finale of the dramatic situation was the conclusion of chariot in the SIZO. Rodennkov managed to avoid unpleasant events, he remained free. Together with Kravtsov, the opposition agreed on an interview, giving what happened to publicity. Now, as before, Anton confirms the unlawful behavior of the authorities regarding citizens of the country.
