Jan Blahovich was born in Silesian Cheshin on February 24, 1983, by nationality he is Pole. As a child, the fighter was not a Pai-boy, and once even escaped with buddies from kindergarten. The kids were going to Honolulu, but did not become water, so they looked into the grandfather's grandparents and grandmother's grandmother, where they were found by the police.

Mixed martial arts
The debut of a young man in MMA took place at the age of 24. In 2007, he signed a contract with the Polish organization of mixed KSW martial arts. Then, in Wroclaw, the fighter won over Sebastian Olkava, Pavel Gasinsky and Daniel Dauda.
In May 2008, he won another tournament, defeating the compatriot Anthony Khmelevsky. This time the fighter performed in a light heavyweight.
In 2009, the athlete left his homeland, starting to train in San Diego (USA) at his friend Tomasha Dvalla. It was not a very good period for a fighter: seriously damaged the knee, he retired from the competition for a year and a half. Restoring after surgery on cruciform ligaments, Jan returned to the system to May 2010.
He performed in contests in Katowice, where in the quarterfinals knocked out debutant, Brazilian Julieu Brutus. Then there were meetings with Wojacch Orlovsky and Daniel Taberie, and as a result - the winning of the entire tournament.
The following KSW competitions took place in Warsaw in March 2011. Here the Pole was not lucky: the battle with Ramo Safda lasted 3 rounds and Cameroon was able to harm the opponent's legs.
The fighter, however, did not let his fans bought. Already at the next meeting in Gdansk, he defeated Tony Valtenna and began to prepare for the match-revenge with Safuja. After 3 rounds, the athlete is attempted by the "African killer" and returned the champion belt in light heavyweight.
After he continued his victorious series, fighting with Goran Railich. After the fight with Croat, Pole suffered surgery and long-term rehabilitation, and in early 2014 carried out his dream: signed a contract with UFC.
His debut in the ring of Magnate MMA coincided with moving to Poznan and changing the club. Yang was able to overcome in the first round of Swede orr Latifi, but in the next two battles in Krakow lost.
The period 2016-2017 was also uneven: the victory over Igor, the paint was replaced by two defeats from Alexander Gustafsson and Patrick Cammins.
By the end of 2017, the Polish athlete opened a second breathing: he consistently recorded four victories, the defenders of Devina Clark, Jared Cannonier, Jimu Manuva and Nikita Krylov. In September 2018, for the first time for his country, Blahovich took 3rd place in the official UFC weight heavyweight rating.
The victory march of the fighter continued in the period 2019-2020. The only defeat during this time was a meeting with Tiagu Santus in the struggle for a belt in light heavyweight. Then in the 3 round, Blahovich stumbled upon a monstrous counterattack of the Brazilian and lost to the technical knockout.
