The artist is one of the first to fulfill "TRAVIATU" in the original language. In the same way, he performed Richard Wagner in German, and Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky - only in Russian.

Bariton performed in the best theaters of the world - Covent Garden, La Rock, Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall. Sang Russian romances and performed chamber music in Vienna, Prague, Bratislava. But it often refused to participate in Western productions, when "ignited" the classics. He refused to sing in the German "Troubadour", where the action began with the killing of the baby in the morgue.

In 2013, the artist was part of the jury of the television competition "Big Opera". Because of the tight schedule, Heroselo visited the filming only three times - twice as a judge and once performed at the gala concert.

On November 30, 2015, the artist presented a solo concert on the scene of the Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Gello performed aria from the operas of Wolfgang Amadeu Mozart and Giuseppe Verdi, Neapolitan songs. In the personal life of Gerlelo, there was a place of love for life. The wife of the artist is called Alena, she also comes from Ukraine. Young people entered into marriage in 1983. Son Andrei graduated from the Law Faculty of St. Petersburg State University.

Hercello since the young age settled in St. Petersburg, but admitted that most of the time "lives in" Sapsans "and aircraft." He challenged the opinion that the inhabitants of the city are prone to depression and a gloomy mood. Now the Petersburgers became lighter and cheerful, because they take an example from the older generation, who survived the blockade and war. Every year on the day of Victory Vasily Georgievich gives a festive concert on St. Isaac Square in the open-air and in any weather, because our grandfathers and great-grandfathers did not regret themselves when they fought.

Once Gerlohlo floated in the seas on the sailboat "Peace". In the waters of the North Sea, he climbed on the mast and dragged the song "Oh give me, give me freedom," looking at the polar glaciers. It was the most unusual place to speak in his creative biography.
