Ilva Eigus - a violinist-virtuoso that has conquered awards at competitions in Switzerland and Latvia. The young performer is already striking the jury by the emotionality of the game and unsurpassed technique.

Childhood and youth

Ilva Eigus was born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2007, grew in an intelligent family. As Estonian by nationality, Russian and Latvian roots also have. The father of the violinist is a Swiss pianist and composer Nick Berch, who writes classic and jazz works.

The first time Ilva saw a violin at the age of 3 at the London Exhibition at the Royal Festival Hall. Soon her sister began to make music, and the youngest followed by example. The girl did not have his own tool, had to rent.

At first, Eigus tried to walk once a week for half-hour classes. But very quickly performed tasks, and then missed.

At four years old, the violinist began to study Liana Tretyakov's teacher at the Skhara Nukhahimovich Music School in Zurich, where they were taught Russian equipment technique. In December 2020, at 13 years old, the violinist became a member of the 7th season of the Blue Bird Competition, presenting the jury in the court of Sergei Bezrukov, Denis Matsuva, Dima Bilan and Nikolai Tsiskaridze "Reflection" from the opera "Tais" Jules Massne.
