Ilva Eigus was born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2007, grew in an intelligent family. As Estonian by nationality, Russian and Latvian roots also have. The father of the violinist is a Swiss pianist and composer Nick Berch, who writes classic and jazz works.
The first time Ilva saw a violin at the age of 3 at the London Exhibition at the Royal Festival Hall. Soon her sister began to make music, and the youngest followed by example. The girl did not have his own tool, had to rent.
At first, Eigus tried to walk once a week for half-hour classes. But very quickly performed tasks, and then missed.
At four years old, the violinist began to study Liana Tretyakov's teacher at the Skhara Nukhahimovich Music School in Zurich, where they were taught Russian equipment technique. The mentor of Ilva felt perfectly well the inner world of the student, possessed the founder knowledge of the object of the subject and played an important role in its musical biography.
Music
The first solo speech of the girl took place at the invitation of the Swiss Foundation for musically gifted children when she was 6 years old.Eigus performed in the historic Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Zurich Congresshaus, in the Bolshoi Theater at the invitation of Vladimir Spevakov, in Salzburg Mozarteum and the University of La Sapienza in Rome, in the halls of the Latvian, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tashkent philharmonium. In 2018, successfully acted as a soloist with two programs at the invitation of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival in Iskitim, accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, and received a high appreciation in the influential British magazine The Strad. Works that Ilva performed were written specifically for her to order the festival and school. Eigus played in Novosibirsk, Moscow, Samara, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk.
As part of the Art Festival, the World Premiere of the Composition of Daniel Schnider Igeneration was held. In this work, elements of classics, jazz and rock music were combined, it was a reflection of the modern world and was intended for the younger generation. Also at the concert sounded numbers from the ballet "Cinderella" and "Italian Suite", Cavaradossi Aria from Opera Gakomo Puccini "Tosca" and much more.
Together with the teacher and parents, the girl traveled in Europe and Russia with concerts, speaking almost daily, and rehearsed 5 hours a day.
"Blue bird"
In December 2020, at 13 years old, the violinist became a member of the 7th season of the Blue Bird Competition, presenting the jury in the court of Sergei Bezrukov, Denis Matsuva, Dima Bilan and Nikolai Tsiskaridze "Reflection" from the opera "Tais" Jules Massne. The girl was called the discovery, her photo appeared on the page "Russia-1" in "Instagram".
Denis Matsuev noted that in the game Girls heard the influences of the Russian school, she has pure music and amazing intonations.

On December 8, 2020, Ilva won at the XXI International Television Competition of Young Talents "Nutcracker" in the "String Tools" nomination.
