In the youth championships of Finland, the skier yoni did not have equal balls - the athlete triumphed both in the sprint and in the races on long distances. However, a breakthrough at the adult level at the athlete was postponed: first the season spoiled the disease, and then the pandemic of coronavirus infection intervened.Childhood and youth
Yoni Born on January 24, 1995. The father of the athlete of Tero is also a skier, but until 18 years old, Yoni played more football - the young man ran very well and became the flank midfielder of the VPS team.
One of his partners at the time was Jofas Wahter, the future player of the Finnish national team. The position of the ball in the team was exceptional - the football player was allowed to attend training only once a day, and the evening young athlete devoted to skis.
Football classes helped the young man develop good coordination, due to this it became easier to master ski technologies. In the end, the skis took the top, and when the balls began to achieve personal high results at the youth level, he decided to concentrate on them.
In skiing, Joni represented the club of the native city of Vaasa, the team "Pyhyanyarvi", and now stands for Pohti Skiteam. Mentor skier - Yuho Halonen, coach of the Ski Academy of VOCATTI-Hand and Finnish national team under 18. The athlete's education was first at the highest school of Lyceum Vaasa, but after moving to VOCATTI in the search for the best conditions for training, a training institution also changed.

In 2013-2018, the ball was the champion of Finland among juniors and young people, regularly defeating the races at 20 and 30 km, in total athlete 7 gold medals.In February 2013, the skier performed at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Romania, where he received the 4th place in the relay, 7th in the sprint, 9th in the races of 7.5 and 10 km. In March, the ball debuted at the national adult championship, taking the start in the race 50 km freestyle and becoming 9th in the sprint.
On January 29, 2014, in the Italian Val di Fiemma, the ball became the owner of a bronze medal of the World Junior Championships in the sprint of freestyle. The 2015 World Cup in Kazakhstan's Almaty for a skier did not successfully, in the account, the ball only 4th place in the relay. In 2016, in the Romanian Risnov and 2018 in the Swiss Goms, the athlete was among the ten strongest world championship sprinters under 23 years.
In 2015, the ball performed at the Scandinavian Cup in Swedish Falun, where she finished 97th in running 15 km by freestyle and 28th in Sprint. In the Swedish Ostersund in January 2016, the athlete rose to the podium, won bronze in the sprint. At the stage in the sandstone, the ball was 7th at a distance of 10 km. In 2019, at the stage in Vuokatti, the crumbs became the 8th.
In the Higher Ski Division - the World Cup - the Finnish athlete debuted on March 1, 2014 at the stage in Lahti, where he became 89th in the race 15 km freestyle and 94th in the sprint. The first glasses of the ball won in January 2016 in the Slovenian Planque.
Since 2018, Yoni has entered the main composition of the National Finnish national team. Sprinter for the first time finished in the top ten in the Norwegian Lillehammer in November 2018, repeating the result of two weeks later in Swiss Davos. In total, in the season of 2018/2019, the ball finished the ball ten times in the glacier zone, becoming 44th in the overall Cup and 19th in the Competition of Sprinter.
In an adult 2019 World Cup in the Austrian Seefeld, the balls became the 13th in the sprint and took the 52nd place in the race for 15 km by classic style.
At the national championships C 2016, the balls regularly finished in the top 10 in races 15 km free style, the race of persecution, mass start, skiathlon and sprint. In 2019, Yoni's crust became a bronze medalist in sprinting free style, and the gold medal won in this discipline for the next year.
In the season 2019/2020, at the stage of the World Cup in the Platyplace, the balls for the first time in his sports biography entered the podium, taking the third place in the team sprint with the Ristomati Khakola team team. The season at the athlete went wrong, because of the illness associated with overstodium, and the Finnish skier finished the year at 76th place.
In February 2020, Yoni, the ball was recognized by the athlete of the year of the Central Ostrobothnia region. The skier was the best also in the opinion of the public.
Personal life
Yoni The ball does not disclose information about his personal life. It is known only that the heart of the young athlete is not free, but there is not a single photo with a girl in the instagram account of the Finnish skier.

In January 2021, Yoni, the ball came into the composition of the finnish prefab group and in his 26th birthday brought the team to the silver medal at the World Cup stage in Lahti. The result, however, was remembered by the conflict between the balls and the leader of the Russian national team Alexander Bolunov - when leaving for the finish, Finn was cut by Russian, and he dismissed, hitting the opponent with a stick.
After the finish line, the Bolunnov knocked down the balls, racing him in the back. There is an opinion that this happened because of the problem with the fastening. For unsporting behavior, the first team of Russia is disqualified and devoid of bronze medals.
In an interview, Finn noted that he was surprised by "Shumikha" in the media, and everything is in order with him: there is no severe injury, there was only a small swelling from a collision on his hand. The crumbs added that he considers the situation to be frozen and did not see the need to address the police:
